As we transition in to a new season, (my ABSOLUTE favorite season of the year) what are you looking forward to?

There’s something about that crisp wind, the smell of cinnamon and pumpkin spice, and the layering of cute fall outfits that make my heart warm. I’m also excited to see how the Lord moves this season. I’m hitting a milestone in November (The big 3–0) and I’m already thanking Him in advance for the doors and opportunities that he’s opening for me. 🤎

Do not regret NOT hiring a month of coordinator 🚨

Here’s why:

1. Stress free - While you are at the final stretch of preparing for your special day, you should not be focused on any logistics. A month of coordinator will be your best friend to handle day of procedures in order to maintain complete ease for you and your future spouse!

2. Organization - Chaotic and unorganized weddings are not fun to ANYBODY. Vendors may not be able to fulfill their service effectively, guests are unaware of where to go or what to do, and the couple may just be confused on the how to transition to each segment. Hiring a month of coordinator will bring order and direction to your day. They will be your vendors’ point of contact, direct guests with instructions, and be by the couple’s side throughout the day!

3. Problem Solver - Majority of the time things may not go according to plan. As your coordinator, we our masters of pivoting in silence. We never want the couple to be aware of problems happening during their special day. With our expertise, we manage the best way to fix every issue and circumstances that may occur.

Florals on ceremony backdrops can add a beautiful and elegant touch to the space. Here are a three ideas for incorporating florals into ceremony backdrops:

1. Arches: Floral arches can frame the couple beautifully, creating a romantic focal point. These can be made with different shaped arches (circular, triangle, deconstructed, etc.) Selecting seasonal blooms will also make the focal area pop!

2. Wall Installations: A backdrop wall installed with flowers can give it a 3D effect, similar to this one. Adding a customized monogram and accent touches will create a dramatic effect!

3. Hanging Florals: Suspend flowers from the ceiling or a structure to bring dimension into the ceremony space.

Florals on ceremony backdrops can transform the space and enhance the overall aesthetic of the event. One of my favorite things about florals and design is that the possibilities are endless!

In May, I celebrated 4 years officially in business! Throughout this journey, there has been a lot of learning curves. Every mistake, taught me how to become an effective entrepreneur.

Last year was a pivotal time in my spiritual journey with Jesus. I rededicated my life to Christ and completely submitted everything to Him, including my passions. He revealed areas in my heart where I was lacking. I truly believe when you are not whole, it impacts every area of your life. I wanted this business to thrive but I had to let go of me and my own desires in order to give room for God to work supernaturally.

After going through the season of healing and growing in Christ, I finally invited God to lead me in my business. Because I have evolved into a new and healthier version of myself, I had the desire to replicate that in my craft. This rebrand is not only to celebrate a new era but most importantly embrace God’s hand in my life.

My name is Cassandra and I’ve been designing beautiful moments for almost 4 years. I’ve always had a creative spirit growing up so when I discovered my love for weddings/events and florals, I allowed God to lead the way from transitioning my passion into a business!

• My happy place is sitting in the sauna. People may find it uncomfortable but I feel extremely relaxed. Especially after an intense workout which I also enjoy!

• I can’t live without my planner. It’s something about writing down everything I need to do in my day that’s satisfying. Lol

• I have an obsession with spicy foods. If I don’t feel the kick…I will be asking for hot sauce. I find it completely normal but my friends think otherwise. Lol

Well hey there! I wanted to reintroduce myself to my new followers! I’m Cassandra Paul, the Lead designer and Florist of Cassandra Paul Events. We specialize in creating memorable moments through luxe designs and florals.

I’ve always had a creative spirit. When I was younger it was through fashion, then I transitioned into events and weddings. I also have a current interest in interior design as well. God really gifted me with hands to create and I am so thankful!

A couple of fun facts about me:

1. Haitian food is the best, call me bias because I’m Haitian but I don’t care…IT’S THE TRUTH 🇭🇹
2. I love nature. I prefer to be outside than inside any day.
3. My current snack obsession is olive tapenade hummus and bagel chips. TOP TIER!
