What started as 4 people sitting around a fire joking about planning the 250th 2 years ago turned into reality with 2 more members joining later.

We have to thank our sponsors, vendors , volunteers, the fire department, the ATV club, and the fireworks teanand the town of Stratford for giving us the reins and letting us do what we thought was going to be a great day.

We got wet but everyone had a great time and I do believe at one point we filled Main St

Pre-event timeline:

Volunteers meet at the Pavillon next to the library at 8AM.

Vendor start setup NO earlier than 8:30, check in with a committee member or volunteer to be told where to go.

9:30-9:45 Parade line-up

9:55 ALL VEHCILES OFF MAIN ST.

Once the parade rounds the memorial there will be a 21-gun salute, then will continue down Main St.

This is rain or shine event we will not let mother nature rain on our parade (she can but it will not stop us)! It does look like some rain during the events on Saturday but please don't let that stop you from coming to celebrate.

As the big day approaches, here are things you need to know:

Handicap Parking will be at the library ( train station), you must show proof. All other parking will be at the school, fuller town hall and River St.

The ATV club will help transport the elderly and young from the school, there will be a designated spot. Anyone parking at the school will need to move their vehicles by 6pm when Main St opens back up so the fireworks team can set up.

Parade lineup is from 9:30-9:45 at the ATV Trail head.
Vendor Setup starts no later than 9, Main St closes at 10. Check in with a volunteer to see where you set up.

Anyone wanting to bring co****le boards can drop them off at Teazer in the morning.

There will be Free cotton candy, popcorn and face painting for the kids ALL OTHER FOOD WILL AT YOUR EXPENSE. so please bring cash.

VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED, WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO HELP IN THE KIDS AREA AND FOR VENDOR SET UP.
