Today is National Robin Day. I love robins, my family has always taken them as a sign of something lovely. Either we're about to get good news, or it's a loved one telling us not to worry about whatever is bothering us, or that they're a loved one popped by to check in. This one who seems to follow me around my garden and sits and waits for me, he also sings very loudly at me, if I haven't spotted him!. I think I have a robin in pretty much every room of my home, more now it's Christmas. Katie x💛🐝

The next Bereavement Cafe is on Monday 6th January at Mansfield Crematorium. If you head for the main reception, you will find us there. Everyone is welcome to attend whatever stage of your grief journey you are at. The cafe is a place to have a cup of tea, a cake, a natter with people who are experiencing something similar to you. It was such an honour to be involved in todays memorial service Mansfield and District Crematorium Mark Andrew Celebrant Serviceswas amazing in leading everything. Thank you to Nada & Haylee and all the crematorium staff for arranging everything. Johnathan from A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service Cheryl Cooper Civil Celebrant PoFfles Coffee and Cake Emporiumfor providing the cakes Blidworth Brass Band and Lauren Polomis for beautiful performances. The Christmas Memorial Service at Mansfield Crematorium is taking place this Saturday. Everyone is welcome to attend. The service will feature performances by Blidworth Brass Band and vocalist Lauren Polimos and will be led by Civil Funeral Celebrant Mark Andrew. Light refreshments will be available afterwards. Any donations on the day will go to the Sir John Eastwood Hospice. It would be lovely to see you there. Katie x💛🐝
