On Thursday, Jan. 26th at 7pm we’re hosting another Mini Square Dance at Vimy Hall!

Our last mini-dance was a blast! These dances are an opportunity for a smaller group of us to learn and dance a few square dances, to have some fun and prepare for the next big dance.

No experience necessary! Live music!

This event is by donation at the door, to cover the cost of renting Vimy Hall. Any extra money will go to the band. No RSVP necessary, but leave a comment here if you're coming so we can get a sense of numbers.

What: Mini Square Dance
When: Thurs., Jan. 26th, 7pm

Where: Vimy Hall, 3968 Gibbons Rd., Duncan, BC

Cost: By donation, suggested $5-10, kids free

Do you want to get more involved? We’re looking for volunteers to contribute snacks/treats/tea for the dancers and musicians during the break between dance sets. Please let us know if you’re interested!

A few pics of tonight’s impromptu square dance! Thank you to the brave ones who ventured out on the night before New Year’s Eve… and the musicians who kept us warm! The idea with these “smaller” dances is for everyone to learn and become familiar with some of the dances so that at the bigger dances there are key people who know what is going on! If you want to be a ”key person” come, or keep coming, to these “learning opportunities”! Thanks so much everyone!

Hey friends who came out to our first dance ever! We are thrilled to be able to say that we donated a whopping $1340 to Lelum 'u tu S'tsa'-elh teyt-en, the House of Honorable Mothers, here in Duncan. Thank you so much for coming, for dancing, for smiling and helping out this worthy cause. We will see you at the next one (in the spring! watch for it!)
