The SJD labelled plan is the original floor plan for our home and the other is our final plan. After help from Dad we found we didn’t need three living areas and managed to get our much wanted Walk in Pantry and Linen 😝 it’s all coming together now, ducted heater in, carpets in, cabinetry done, site cleanup done 🙌🏻

We’ve seen some great progress this week and all the floor tiles were laid today and we love it! At our colour appointment the only thing we had a really hard time on was tiling including the splash back! Which we love and seeing it done now looks amazing ❤️ Karl Rasmussen

Managed to sneakily gain access to the house today! Tiling started in the bathrooms and painting almost finished. Karl Rasmussen spoke with the site supervisor and they think a Mid March finish with a couple of weeks following for any touch ups and handover so we’re cutting it fine. But loving the kitchen especially the higher benchtops, Karl’s request and they have turned out awesome

Finally we have received an update and some progress after nothing much since mid December. Painting will be finished by the end of this week and Tiling to be started next week, this should take a couple of weeks as basically most of the house is tiled except bedrooms! Karl Rasmussen

Gunnado, a term expressed by my Great Grand Father Bruce, past onto the generations to follow the Bretherton name, including Marsh, Rasmussen and Old families.
Aboriginal slang from the Great Malamagenah (Mal-ar-ma-gen-a) a cult figure amongst the Indigenous communities.

Pa expressed this word to describe the future tasks that he created in his mind... He was Gunna-Do THIS and Guna-Do THAT before he was to Guna-Do IT..
Due to this excessive use of the word, Bruce and his Wife Jean (Nan) would give their own home a title, that being Gunnado.

Gunnado Part 2 would seem a fitting tribute in allowing us to keep there legacies alive for future generations and for all gathers to follow.

Meaning to set this up for a while.
Due to some virus that goes around town and to & fro and with the assistance of the governments enforcing lockdowns, it makes it quiet difficult to get to together and share our exciting phase of life with the build of our future home.
