FRIDAY. Our final day!

We are ready to finish on a high as we welcome you back to the tent to ask some of the biggest questions we have asked this week.

Whether you have been to one of the events this week or if today will be your first, come along to the MORE tent for an opportunity to grapple with these topics for yourself.

All of the fun things like free lunch, the MORE café, live music in the evenings and welcoming faces will be happening throughout the day.

We LOVED having the Wardill/Thomas/Goodwin/Clarke/Krone Quintet last night. Live music has been a real highlight of our evening events so far🤩. Come along this eve to hear DU Gospel Choir at 7pm!

THURSDAY. Day four of MORE.

We have another wonderful line up for tomorrow as we explore themes of identity at lunchtime and justice in the evening.

Also international students, we are so excited to host another event specifically aimed at you at 4:45 in the MORE tent, answering the question ‘Is becoming a Christian really worth it?’.

As always, please do take the opportunity to have any questions that you have, whether they have arisen over the course of the week or been on your mind for a long time. Ask anybody in a MORE jumper and they’d be so happy to talk about anything you desire.

Day 3 of MORE!

Please keep asking any questions you have. We’d love to further explore any of the topics encountered in the tent with you, just ask anyone in a black MORE crewneck. A great place to do that is the café which is open all day from 10-4.

Here is MORE’s Tuesday schedule - we would love to see you in the tent for the lunchtime or evening talks. Remember the tent is open 10-4 for the café and we’d love it to be used as a space to catch up with friends and ask any questions you may have about anything said at the events, Christianity or Jesus.

Remember that all events will take place in the MORE Marquee, on the field at the crossroads opposite the Billy B and White Church.

International Focus

We will be having two internationally focused events, engaging with the questions
‘Is becoming a Christian worth it?’
and ‘Is it possible to be a Christian and stay faithful to my culture?’
in a way that is relevant to the international student experience.

Both of these events will start at 16:15 in the MORE marquee - we would LOVE to see you there! 🤩

FREE LUNCH every day at MORE.

Come by the MORE marquee every lunchtime this week to hear a brief answer to each of these questions and be gifted a free lunch 🤩.

There will be time at the end to ask questions and discuss these topics further but the main event will be contained within an hour window so that you are not taken from lectures / your summatives for too long.

Where is MORE?

We will be in a large Marquee at the Billy B crossroad, opposite Whitechurch on Durham School’s playing field.

The marquee will be open for all events, and the café’s opening hours are: 10:00-16:00 // 21:00-22:00.

All are welcome.
