It's here! Track by me amongst a lot of friends and producers I admire.
Trickshot was the first track I ever completed - but it was kind of incomplete, and only came about after a series of happy(ish) accidents. There's one gun clock sample which layered when I'd copied it by accident but it happened to sound great as it was really off-kilter and steppy - this became the percussion and created a swing. It was something I was unable to recreate after I lost all the stems in a careless move (I was new at Ableton - young and reckless!) In the end all I had was quite a raw version of the track - stripped back, with only a few elements. It felt like there was a bit of a lesson in that - don't try to do too much or overthink the process.
Anyway I hope you enjoy it more than I did then but as much as I do now.

Tomorrow I've got some new music coming out! Trickshot, a track of mine I've been playing in sets for a while is also the first track I ever finished and it will be finally let loose in the world via a stacked new comp on Somersault Records called WHERE WERE YOU? which celebrates the best of Brooklyn - it's an honour to be included (I'm like the exchange student or London-based cousin). It's out tomorrow, Friday 15th August at 10am EST!

So much has happened in the past year that I can't quite believe that today is the anniversary of my first livestream on .ldn with the Typeless Records crew.

So proud to announce that I’ll be joining Rinse FM as one of their new residents this summer!
I’ve been listening to Rinse for about as long as I’ve been into dance music, streaming it from from my bedroom in Sydney so this is still a bit of a 😳 moment for me - I’m sure I’ll stop pinching myself soon!

Thank you Miguel, Emily, Freddie, Ana & the team for making me feel so welcome and for all your hard work - I can’t wait to get started and use the platform to showcase my favourite club music from both sides of the pond.
