Come one come all to the most epic boat party happening before the Texas Eclipse festival gatherings.
We have a 100 person boat that will be taking us out to an island in Lake Travis. Upon arriving at the boat we will drop into a short activation to drop us into the voyage and adventures ahead. MeganDuboss will open up the vibes behind the decks then Ser Leon will serve up some heat then closing it out with the juiciest beats will be Liquid Gold!

The Beginning of Optimized SMMA

My name is Cam Nelson and I am the founder of Optimized SMMA. I founded this company to create a life that is true to me and can pave a path for others to follow their dreams. The thing that really sets my soul on fire besides becoming the best version of myself is highlining. It is a sport that is derived from slacklining and inspired by tight rope walking. Instead of walking a tight rope, however, you are walking a dynamic, wiggly, sometimes bouncy piece of webbing. In place of utilizing a pole for balance like in tight rope walking, highlining requires just your body to cultivate balance. With highlining, you are tethered in using a harness and leash, and when you fall off the line it is about a 3-4 foot drop.
Highlining commands balance not only within your body but deep within your mind. To find stillness on the line, it must be cultivated internally first. Being hundreds of feet in the air with the only thing separating you from that distance being a one inch bridge that you’ve built with your friends can be nerve wracking. This space can bring about some of your greatest fears, insecurities, and doubts. It can also hold the space for you to work through those, let them go, and find self mastery in the process. For myself, I have found nothing greater for understanding myself than highlining.
This sport has helped me in some of my darkest moments, given me growth beyond my wildest dreams, and connected me with community that has become family. I owe so much of myself to this sport and part of my life’s mission is to share this sport with the world. So I am building this company to offer the lessons of my sport to other businesses through advertising, to learn skills that can offer value to those that need it, and to brand myself as a optimized highlining entrepreneur.
Through my pursuits and education within optimization, I have learned that it is the small steps that cultivate the big wins. The tweaking of the simple variables that end up creating the largest impact. At Optimized SMMA we focus on the systems and tools that offer results.
