We are tar’d massive thank you to Bennett’s tarmac. To our committee, members, the community we thank you without your hard work, fundraising and giving we wouldn’t be here to get this done. We are glad to keep making important improvements and wise investments j to our club.

Hi All, as many of you already know we have had to postpone our lip sync battle from the 31st July to the 30th October due to unforeseen circumstances. We have also looked at the rising cost of inflation in Ireland and have decided to reduce the ticket price from €25 to €20 to make it more affordable. This is going to be the biggest single fundraiser in order for us to build the fund for the new flood light all-weather pitch. It promises to be an amazing night with loads of laughs, fun, music and maybe a best halloween outfit competition or two! Anyone that has purchased tickets for the postponed show please return them to your ticket seller and they will issue you your €5 refund and give you your new ticket. Only the new tickets will be admitted entry on the night. Thank you all again for supporting us, we can’t wait to get cracking on the all weather pitch but firstly we can’t wait to see you on the night to witness what is bound to be an amazing show!
Name: Rebecca Farrell
Role in the club:
Committee Member and I give a hand at the bingo when I’m not working.
Why are you taking part?
I am actually quite a nervous nelly so taking part is actually a big deal to me. I am a very quite person and don’t like to be out there, but I said I’d put my name down and hopefully won’t regret it. But mainly because it’s a club fundraiser I want to help in any way I can to try get funding for the club to improve its facilities for the future and current members of the club and community.
What are you looking forward to most?
I am looking forward to the rehearsals with the group I will be taking part with for a good laugh and also for after we have performed on stage and it’s all done😂 I look forward to seeing all the other acts and just hopefully everyone who comes enjoying the night, as it’s set to be a great night for all.
What act are you going to be performing as?
The night will tell all. I’m part of a family group with my sisters my mother and Uncle so it will be something not to be missed.
MEET THE LIP SYNC CONTESTANTS
Name: Nick Finn
Role in the club: Secretary, A Team Manager, Coach with other teams and look after the pitches for my sins too!
Why are you taking part?
I think it’s important that the money from this fundraiser goes towards the all weather pitch. It will mean no cancelling train sessions because our training pitch is waterlogged and it will allow the club move to the next level.
What are you looking forward to the most?
The crack and the special appearance of mylie cyrus
What act are you going to be performing as?
I’m with my sons and we are going to put on a show, impersonating what was the biggest girl group in the world!

Ger Roche
Role in the club:
I have had various roles in the club over the years from Chairman, committee member, manager, coach, administrator but I currently hold the role of Director of Underage Football.
Why are you taking part?
To help the club in its quest to build a Full Size All Weather Astro pitch which the county so badly needs at present.
What are you looking forward to the most?
Having the craic with fellow contestants and enjoying a great night in aid of the club.
What act are you going to be performing as?
I am one of a number of family members and we will be hoping to entertain everyone on the night with our act 😁

Jamie Farrell
Role in the club:
I’m quite involved now to be fair, I’m PRO and Fundraising Co-Ordinator on an official level I suppose. I am also the B Team manager and of course I call the bingo numbers on Thursdays! Other than that, I will do as much as I can around the place.
Why are you taking part?
I feel passionate, actually very passionate about the club and community. I believe that anything we can do as a club or as a town to give children, young adults, and adults alike a place they feel safe, happy, and enjoying themselves is a big plus for everyone, if we can offer that in a direct or indirect way I am a happy man. I think the addition of a Full-Size Flood Light All Weather pitch will further place the club to be one of the best in Leinster, if not Ireland and of course allow us keep producing the amazing talent that is coming through our doors. On top of this it will hopefully bring other teams and clubs to the area which will further develop the economy of the town.
What are you looking forward to the most?
I don’t know! I certainly don’t mind making a fool of myself if it means that teams and members of the clubs can look forward to using an outdoor AstroTurf week in week out. I suppose I am looking forward to the whole training part and of course the night. Seeing Nicky take part will be a highlight too! The few drinks in the bar at the end of the night will go down well too!
What act are you going to be performing as?
That would be telling! I am dressing up as a girl and I can promise you above all else you will laugh your heart out! You will need to purchase a ticket for the night to see exactly what I’m going to be.
We are so looking forward to holding our lip sync battle here in Bunclody AFC on the 31st July 2022.
All money raised will go towards the development of a Full Size Floodlight All Weather Pitch. Which will further develop the club facilities to be one of the best if not the best in Ireland.
We hope to see as many people as possible on the night, which is going to be great craic.
