# # # Beetroot Paratha Recipe
**Ingredients:**
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 medium beetroot, grated
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- Water as needed
- Ghee or oil for cooking
**Instructions:**
1. **Prepare Dough:** Mix flour, grated beetroot, onion, chilies, spices, and salt. Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Rest for 15 minutes.
2. **Roll Parathas:** Divide dough into balls, roll out into 6-7 inch circles.
3. **Cook Parathas:** Heat a tawa, cook each paratha, applying ghee/oil, until both sides are golden brown.
4. **Serve:** Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any side dish.
