Our mission is to create the very best, most unique West Coast Swing events and experiences. We currently own and operate Swingtacular: The Galactic Open, which is one of the largest WCS conventions in the Galaxy, and more importantly... Is one of the most tremendous and unique WCS-based experiences one can have. The next iteration of Swingtacular will be August 3-6, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency SFO.

For more information, keep an eye out for the Swingtacular 2023 event page coming soon. We also were recently brought on as the new Event Directors for the Capital Swing Convention. The 2023 convention was a smashing success, and we look forward to organizing the convention (Hopefully) for many years to come. The 2024 Capital Swing Convention will be on President's Day weekend in Sacramento... February 15-18. Swingtacular: The Galactic Open 2024 - Celebrating 10 Years is in the books!

This is something that we will never take for granted. Having the opportunity to facilitate the experiences of 1200+ humans/aliens, that chose Swingtacular for the weekend will never be lost on us. Swingtacular was originally Ben's foster baby, which Cameo came in and started supporting along with me early on. Since then, Swingtacular has turned into a very cool young being that has learned to interact with large groups of humans for days at a time. The joy of watching all of those experiences/interactions play out is something we truly can’t put into words. *Huge thanks* to everyone single one of you for choosing to show up and interact with Swingtacular over the years. Thank you to the team that helped us in so many ways make this possible. Here’s to many more to come!

On Friday night, we will be hosting our “Beer Garden Social'' (4:00-6:30PM) on the Atrium level at the hotel. We have done this for a few years now, and it is always super fun. Ben (McHenry) hosts a Tap Takeover at the hotel bar in order to share some beer from the company he works for. There will be tons of fun games for Swingtacularites of all ages. Cash bar with additional beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be open, and the hotel bar/restaurant will have food available if you want snacks or dinner during this time as well.

This year, we wanted to add an opportunity for some Westies to shine. Mr. John Kirkconnell will be our host and Trivia Master, as we set the stage for some of our multi talented community members to hop on the mic and share their art!

We are mainly just curating to make sure that everything is age-appropriate (Swingtacular welcomes Swingtacularites of all ages, and ask all of our acts to plan accordingly, thank you).

Hello Swingtacularites!

Many times, working with the hotel on your room block to make sure that all of your attendees are able to get accommodated can be challenging, but sometimes… Well, sometimes… You get really lucky and your hotel has enough vacancy that they just set your room block to “oversell”, meaning as we continue to boldly expand our block where no Swingtacular block has been before… The hotel will simply continue to add rooms as long as they have them.

This means that the hotel should be able to accommodate any/every Swingtacularite in need, which is great. This also means that for this event, for this year, we don’t need to stress too hard about transferring rooms as opposed to canceling. If you know someone in need of a room, please feel free to transfer, but if you don’t and you want to cancel, you should be able to do so without compromising another Swingtacularite’s ability to find accommodation.
