Kilmichael registered back to back wins in the league overcoming a good Blackstone rovers team. Kilmichael had an electric start with con Dunne unlucky to see two of his attempts just sneak over the bar after excellent work from Ciaran Foley. Ciaran Foley then beat 3 men to see his effort just tipped around the post by the Blackstone keeper. All kilmichael efforts were in vein when Blackstone broke through and won a penalty and was converted nicely. Kilmichael 1-0 down at half time. Kilmichael then got control again in the second half when Blackstone were reduced to 10 men. Dara rings dangerous crosses all match was finally converted on 70 mins when Mitch snuck around the back post and converted a bullet header. Good work by con Dunne minutes later won kilmichael a peonalty which Alan Murphy slotted. With fresh legs off the bench kilmichael missed a few chances and it took a great save from darragh Hodman and a last ditch tackle from Blake ring with the goal at the Blackstone rovers attackers mercy to keep all 3 points going to the kilmichael men. Impressive on the day we’re Alan McCarty darragh ring and Ciaran Foley.

Our 18s got their season off to a flying start when they had a superb victory over Avondale Utd at hom on Sunday morning. Missing a few regulars the lads were under a bit of pressure at the start but our defence held firm and Darragh Hodman in our goal was never really threatened. On 20 minutes Ciarán Foley broke free of the visiting defence and he drove the ball home to put us 1 up. 10 minutes later we doubled the lead when a sublime through ball from Tim Sweeney put Ciaran in again and he made no mistake from 14 yards. Soon after Ciaran turned provider when he slipped Peter Lucey through and he made no mistake with a great strike. Avondale pulled one back on the stroke of half time and when they scored a minute into the second half it looked like we could be in trouble. We need not have worried though because we got back into our rhythm again and created the better chances. With 10 minutes to go a super move put Peter Lucey free down the right wing and his cross was inch perfect for Ciaran to score his third with a great volley and our 4th to kill off the game. It was a super team performance from all players. Well done lads.

Kilmichael Rovers Football Club visited Kilbrittan rovers on Thursday night
Kilmichael Rovers Football Club got off to a fast start when a through ball found Ciran Galvan who finished well.on the 35 minute mark a first time cross from Kevin Murphy found Con Dunne inside the box, who controlled nicely and found the back of the net to put Kilmichael Rovers Football Club 2 up,
early into the second half Con Dunne flicked a nice ball through to Danny O'Connell who finished nicely. Kilbrittan got one back after being awarded a penalty but Kilmichael Rovers Football Club saw the game out with a second Ciran Galvan goal into the bottom corner .
