Today is the day!!!! We are officially taking our first set of meal delivery orders. Please see below for order form and menu. Our menu will change monthly so if you don't see anything you want from this menu please check back next month. Hello all! I know I've been gone from Facebook for awhile. Busy life.. you know how that is!

So the holidays are approaching and I will be taking orders for fresh homemade deserts for your Thanksgiving gathering. Pre-orders only must be placed and paid for by November 12th -- local Columbia area delivery only ($3 delivery fee) or the can be picked up. All orders must be delivered or picked up by November 23rd.

So I've been asked to go live with making eggs in different ways. So I will be going live tomorrow at noon to show how to do soft boiled eggs, hard boiled eggs, and over easy eggs. Hope you tune in.

The start of delicious lemonade! 🍋🍋🍋 If you would like to make it, here's the recipe. Definitely worth the time!

6 lemons thoroughly washed
1 C. granulated sugar...you can add more if you like it sweeter.
4 C. boiling water
1 C. ice plus extra to serve

Thoroughly wash and dry the outsides of the lemons.

Using a vegetable peeler, gently peel the zest of the lemons into a large bowl. Try to avoid the bitter white pith beneath the zest.

Set the peeled lemons aside.

Pour the sugar over the lemon peels. Stir well and cover and let the mixture rest at least 2 hours or overnight.

The lemon and sugar mixture should look wet at this point. Pour 4 cups of boiling water over the sugar and lemon peel mixture. Stir to dissolve all of the sugar. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Strain out the peels from the lemon syrup.

To the warm syrup add 1 cup of ice.

Squeeze the juice of all of the lemons (approximately 1 cup of juice) and add it to the now room temperature syrup.

Chill the lemonade for a couple of hours and serve over plenty of ice.

This recipe can be doubled or even trippled.

Here's a delicious recipe. I made this for my daughter today before school.

Add to a mixing bowl

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Whisk together do ingredients
Then add
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Mix until smooth and let batter sit for 10 to 15 minutes. This relaxes the gluten in the batter (for fluffier pancakes).

Lightly oil pan or griddle... don't use butter.

I put my batter in a large measuring cup so it's ready to pour, but you can use a ladle as well.

Add blueberries or chocolate chips if you like.

Cook 3 to 4 minutes on side one; over medium high heat (around #7 on an electric stove) flip and cook for 2 more minutes.

For these pictured pancakes I added chocolate chips and topped the bottom two pancakes with peanut butter. The top pancake just has butter. Cover in syrup and serve! Hope you try these they are delicious!!!
