This afternoon I have some good news and I have some bad news.

The bad news first. Due to all of the rain over the past 48 hours, the Lincoln complex is a swamp. The fields are not draining as quickly as we would like. We do not want to destroy the fields in the process. Therefore today’s camp has been cancelled.

Good new. We are extending the camp through next week. We’ve had a few cancellations over the past week, and we want to make sure that the kids are getting all the work possible before the season starts.

It is exciting to know that Lincoln is setting the benchmark for pre-season workouts. We have stirred the pot; with reports that more and more of our competition are now starting camp. With that being said, we will up the throttle a bit and are expecting to see all of our stars on the field during the next two weeks. Thanks for all the parents that have been dedicated this far and please get on the horn and tell the rest of the partners the good news!! -In

Lincoln Parks has determined that due to the amount of rain that fell on the fields today, that the fields are no long in a state of performance. Therefore camp will be cancelled for today and we will resume Thursday afternoon!
