BASSBQ 2024 is this Weekend! Tickets are still available for purchase via eventbrite and thru any of our staff members. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $25. As we approach the date, we are seeing no severe weather this weekend, with just a few scattered showers and rumbles of thunder on Friday, and a clear Saturday! Can't wait to see everyone out there!

🔥🔥ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Hunter Reed🔥🔥

Since 2013, Hunter Reed has been on a quest to discover his own unique sounds through musical production and sound engineering. After attending his first live electronic music event and being gifted his first music producing software, Hunter’s journey through sound and tech has been effervescent and unique to say the least. Beginning in the realms of moombahton, he was able to sift through the noise to find the sounds that make him tick. Upon doing so he landed on bass music, dubstep, left-field and continues to explore the realms further.
Hunter’s inspiration for the music he makes now, is what he envisions the center of the earth to sound like. Putting your ear up to the crust and becoming enveloped in all of the sounds’ ominous reverb and oozing sub bass, deep from the core, Hunter aims to produce the darkest tones that others could only imagine.
Joining lineups with dubstep legends such as Egoless, DJ Madd, and other up and coming artists like Chief Kaya, Hunter Reed shows he deserves to be here with his enchanting live performances of original and fellow producer’s tunes. Breaking all boundaries and pushing the limits of bass music as far as they go. Encrypted Audio and their deep discography continues to repeatedly come for the tunes of Hunter Reed and the diversity he has to offer with multiple heavy-hitting releases.

🔥🔥ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: No Sleep🔥🔥

No sleep is christopher lee (also know as cj) who is known for being clevelands own metalstep dj. Known for mixing metal and electronic music and doing live metal vocals durring his set, bringing the energy of a metal show to an edm stage. He will jump into a mosh pit while doing vocals if one opens up. Has opened for live acts such as the bunny the bear and hi im ghost and is also known for throwing underground events with the organization called the goth wook clique. You can easily identify him at a show by his blacklight reactive long green hair, unless of corse he is wearing his inflatable godzilla costume and djing, and can occasionally dress up in other extravagant costumes from things like star wars or pyramid head from silent hill. Try not to headbang while listeng to his set and mosh pits are always welcome when he takes the stage!!!

Lobotomy Mommy a versatile multi genre DJ based in Cleveland Ohio. She is most known for her love for Hard Techno, Hardstyle, Uptempo & Speedcore. She also incorporates a mixture of Color Bass, Future Riddim, Trap, Heavy Dubstep, Riddim into her mixes. So you never know how she will blow your mind with her wubs. She is the leader of Goth Wook Clique which is an artist collective that rules the Cleveland underground. If your frontal lobe is in tact it won’t be after seeing her set.

🔥🔥ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Computergirl 🔥🔥

I am Computergirl, the founder of RatSystem, an XR multimedia company pioneering virtual and extended reality concert experiences. My musical journey began with reggae, evolving through dub to dubstep, where I gained early recognition by posting launchpad covers of popular dubstep tracks on YouTube. In 2019, as virtual reality technology began to emerge, I immersed myself in the world of VR with an original HTC Vive, starting with Half-Life: Alyx. This experience opened my eyes to the transformative power of VR. During this time, I was part of GemBoyzZ, a hyperpop rap collective based in Dublin, Ireland. Inspired by the potential of VR and VRChat, I saw an opportunity to propel our collective into the emerging VR rave scene. I designed, hosted, and performed multiple VRChat events, creating immersive and interactive concert experiences and contributing to the growing VR rave scene. Eventually, my musical interests shifted towards experimental and alternative hard bass. In 2023, I established RatSystem, and we launched the RatSystem Worldz tour, creating new virtual venues on the first Friday of every month. After years of performing in VR, I’m excited to bring my hard bass bangers to live audiences. At BassBBQ I will unleash the hard-hitting sounds of RatSystem in real life for the first time, blending the cutting-edge of XR technology with the raw energy of live performance.

🔥🔥Artist Spotlight: Trenches🔥🔥

Trenches is the brainchild of music producer Tanner Sagle, using influence from the entire spectrum of dance music to create aggressive dubstep, groovy drum & bass, and swaggy hybrid trap music.

Born and raised in the Midwest, his love of music started at five and began to explore electronic music as early as 2003. Trenches' love of bass music started around 2009, with his first introductions to dubstep. He started producing in 2012 and began to DJ shows in 2015.

Trenches has supported a number of major acts over the years, including Liquid Stranger, Aweminus, Bommer, and Blunts & Blondes. Trenches has headlined several Ohio events as well as played a slot on Clustxr music festival in West Virginia.

Trenches hopes to join the upper echelons of bass music and dance music and get there by travelling in a lane entirely of his own making.

Hi, Im Jozef! I started this project back in 2015, where i was solely bassed on trap and dubstep. By the
time it was 2018, I was on the riddim/dubstep wave. I've played in every state surrounding Ohio, also
playing some of the biggest festivals in Ohio . In 2021 i took a step back from music, at the end of 2023, I
came back with a different mind set and a new vision. I got into Drum and Bass. Since the start of 2024, I
have released numerous tracks as well as my first EP (Resurgence)
My drive to keep my project going is my 2 boys, my wife, and all of my family and friends who've stuck
with me throughout my journey. I just want my boys to know, that literally you can follow your dreams if
you want it enough. No one is going to give you the life you want, you have to go out there and take it.
This is the new era of Jozef
