The last of my what’s in the arrangement posts! Sorry for the silence over the last few days... work has taken over and we’ve been having renovations in the house completed so it’s been hectic to say the least! And what’s with this weather?!!

It might be Friday (TGIF) but I’m throwing back to warmer days and tall spires of the Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’ aka the Hyssop.

Loved by bees and pollinators and humans alike, the Agastache grows up to 1.2m high and has great long stems for cutting. It also smells amazing - like Licorice!

The Agastache is a hardy perennial so will come back year after year. I leave the seed heads through the winter for interest and cut back in the Spring.

Can be grown from seed undercover until end of October or from Feb-April. Once seedlings are established they can be introduced to the outside and planted on after the risk of frost has disappeared. They like full sun and good draining soil.

Agastache comes in a variety of colours including pink and white. I buy all my seeds from .
