Facility #1: Car Parking
A parking unit is one of the most important apartment facilities, especially if you are a driver. Unfortunately, not every apartment unit offers parking. Those that do are rare in major cities. If you have a car and you can lock in apartment rentals with a parking space included, that’s definitely a major get.
Facility #2: Bike Parking
You may not have a car. Maybe you have a bike. Some apartment complexes offer safe bike parking. This may also come in the form of a storage room. Either way, it saves you from having to take your bicycle up to your unit after every trip.
Facility #3: Swimming Pool
More and more pools are being put into luxury apartments and condos for rent in an attempt to reflect prioritizing quality of life. Pools are so popular among newly built apartments that millennial apartment renters expect them to have at least that.

Some apartments offer WiFi in common areas, a la gyms, lounges, and co-working spaces. This isn’t as common as some of the other apartment amenities on this list but if your rent complex does have it, WiFi certainly increases the likeability of the overall facilities.

Having a washer and dryer in your unit is preferable. The next best thing is having a washer and dryer on-site in a private area. You don’t want to be running to a public laundromat to wash clothes.
