Like many spouses, when that special occasion comes around my husband likes to ask me “what do you want?”

And my answer is the same. Every year.
✨
I don’t want any THING.
I want an experience.
I want an adventure.
I want to make a lasting memory.
I want to do something different than the proverbial “dinner and a movie”. Oh and I want a mushy gushy card with why you love me, and adore me, chose me and continue to choose me every day forever!”
(I promise I’m not toooo high maintenance 😉)

This is my youngest daughter Farah Lei 🤍
Aka “the roomba” 😂 her favorite past time includes crawling to every corner of the house and putting whatever she can into her mouth!

She is going to be turning 1 around thanksgiving and I’m already thinking about her big day. Yes it’s only September, yes her birthday is 3 months away BUT that is the beauty of the DREAM stage! ✨

Give yourself time to think, get creative, and truly reflect on this gift you’ve been given!
What does she love?
What is she into?
What theme would align with her personality?

One of the biggest tips at the DREAM stage is get started early! Time is your friend, you’ll end up saving money too because your party mindset is there as you look around your house with fresh eyes seeing what you could use as well as what you can make yourself!

I want a celebration that’s going to be unique to her and her birthday month. So a keiki turkey obstacle course eating along the way with the scent of warm apple pie baking and my guests dressed as pilgrims and Indians?! MAYBE! 😄
