Memory from 2013...
At the end of three hours of University of Tampa college students telling me, with details and examples, that my palm readings were amazingly accurate, the last person wanted to make absolutely sure that I knew I got one thing totally wrong. I had said he seemed like someone who could put other people's needs ahead of his own, and, although some people would take advantage of that, generally people would appreciate his kindness and generosity, and, in the long run, kindness and generosity would come back to him, multiplied. "I'm actually very selfish," he assured me. I said that his hand indicated a predisposition toward selflessness, but that he had free will, and could certainly CHOOSE to be selfish instead. I asked if he had made a conscious effort to be a selfish person. He said, "Yes, I've been working on it." When I asked why, he said, "Because sometimes people were taking advantage of me when I wasn't selfish." Oh. Thanks for correcting me.
