I'm excited to announce the beginning of a tradition... a holiday open house where I open my kitchen and welcome anyone in the area to stop over and visit. 👩‍🍳🎉🥘🍷

It’s pretty warm today, so I’m going light with the food. Have you ever tried making hummus? I always thought it would be extremely difficult, but turns out it’s a Breeze in the Deluxe Cooking Blender! I make the plain hummus then add seasoning blends to make multiple kinds! 🥰

Here’s what’s for lunch…and dinner!  bacon, wrapped jalapeño poppers 🌶️🥓
5 seeded and halved jalapeños
4oz softened cream cheese
2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella
2–3 teaspoons of Mrs. Dashes table blend
Salt and pepper to taste 
Five slices of bacon 
350° for 20 minutes

What’s for dinner tonight? Bacon-wrapped filet mignon with a crust of lava salt from Iceland!
My bacon slices weren’t long enough so I wrapped with two and I couldn’t find my cooking twine so I used toothpicks hold them in place.
Have a pan heated to medium high heat, then sear on both sides. You can then finish in the oven or cover and turn off the heat and cook until your preferred doneness. 
I also put a pad of Parmesan, garlic and basil butter on the top of each when they were done .

The Deluxe Cooking Blender with Smoothie Attachment have been my go to most mornings these days! It’s just been too hot to make a breakfast so I’ve been making protein smoothies/shakes with ice, frozen fruit, Chia seeds, other ingredients, depending on the concoction, protein powder and almond milk!  they are quick and keep me going most of the day!
