To all of our wonderful customers and supporters:
We’d like to let everyone know we have made the difficult decision to close Fleurelle. We started this business in the Fall of 2020 when our event rental company was not only struggling, but on the brink of going out of business. It was a pretty tough time for us. In the beginning Catherine and I worked together and we split many of the responsibilities. It was very exciting when we started gaining some traction in our community. However, by April of 2021 there was a dramatic shift in the events industry and I started to get very busy again in the Spring and the Fall of 2021. At this point Catherine had to shoulder more and more of the day to day responsibilities of the business on her own. Additionally, our children are still very involved in their extracurricular activities and Catherine had to manage those commitments as well. So, while my business was starting to thrive again, Catherine was becoming more and more overwhelmed with trying to run this business by herself. It was at that time we decided the best thing to do would be to close Fleurelle.
We have been so lucky over the past year and a half to meet so many wonderful people. This includes customers, suppliers, and steadfast supporters of our business. The outpouring of love and support is actually what kept us moving forward when we thought it was too hard to continue. It’s never easy to let go of something that brings joy to so many people, but we know that we are making the right decision for our family. We cannot thank you enough for all of the love and support. We will always treasure the time we spent delivering beautiful flowers in Howard County.
