Visiting a beautiful wedding venue near Edinburgh. I cant decide who was more excited me or the bride? Love spending time really getting to know my wedding couples before their big day. It makes the ceremony much more meaningful.
All ceremonies are great fun, the venue is important but its the people that count

Baby Naming 🧸 This little sweetie has both Swedish and Scottish genes. She really suited her name which was dedicated to the memory of Great Grandmothers from both nations. Looking fabulous in her beautiful crown of Scottish Heather. Queen for a day. Beautiful family ceremony which I was honoured to be asked to officiate

The "office"

A Heart-led Celebrant's office is as varied as a wildflower meadow, castle, beach, cave, orchard, barn, hotel, garden, vineyard, restaurant, living room, yurt, stable, conservatory, boat, plane, train, etc.

We get to officiate in some truly amazing places!

Wedding enquiries coming in for the next couple of years (giddy steps!). Some details of a heart led celebrant to help you out.
I can NOT LEGALLY marry you. I don't want to. A legal registry service is bound by legal scripts. You've been to one church or registry wedding, chances are you'll see one of 3 scripts/services.
So, what clients in the past have done is pay the cheapest (in and out), legal service at a registered venue, often your nearest registry office. In and out, two witnesses, legal marraige done, often in no more than 15 minutes. You've registered your marraige.
Then, we have a WEDDING! (Much like you register a death, with legal paperwork etc, then have a funeral!).
Then you can have whatever ceremony you like, where ever you like, as long as you have the landowners/venue holders permission!
We can taylor a wedding ceremony around your own story, personalities, involve family and friends, hand fasting/creating ceremonial spaces etc. for a truly unique service.
Wedding scripts/services take a minimum of 20 hours to prepare and write. It's why you won't find the heart led celebrants doing several weddings a week. There is NO cut and paste, NO insert name here laziness.
If local to me, weddings are £550. If further away I will signpost you to someone nearer. If you still want me, I'd have to add travel time etc to the fee.

I have been checking out local wedding venues. Why get married in Scotland? Loving Gretna Green for its lovely fun and inclusive vibe.
