We had quite the weekend serving it up at and now we want to bring it back to you by offering a special menu that will be available THIS WEDNESDAY from 11-5pm at The Kitchen Terminal in San Luis Obispo 🔥

Gotta love trying new things! This was a first for us, but such a great way to use up extra egg whites leftover from a full day making koobideh! This pavlova with lemon curd and fresh strawberries was a perfect light, bright, and delicious treat to enjoy on a summers day 🌞 What do you think? Something we should keep on rotation?

What a fun weekend! From the international beer fest to , we were serving up our delicious Persian Paella to thousands of grateful people. It was quite the rush, and we appreciate everyone's positive feedback and their votes, getting us second place this year!! 🙏🔥

We have a special treat for you at farmers market tonight! Come on out to grab some of this amazing Persian Paella from 6-9pm at .
This dish is lovingly made with saffron chicken and koobideh kabobs, grilled veggies, homemade broth, roasted garlic sauce, and then topped with our Sabzi sauce, onion parsley slaw, and fresh sliced bell peppers. You also get a side of our garlic and herb pita chips to scoop up those delicious bites! 🤤

What a treat to be able to share our traditional Persian kabob with so many guests at The Octogon Barn last weekend. Everything was a huge hit, along with special requests for pescatarian and vegetarian options which we were more than happy to provide. The baked salmon with avocado gremolata and vegetarian sambouseh were perfect! Thank you for letting us be a part of your big day! 💕

What a whirlwind the last few weeks have been!! While Sina and Lindsey were able to sneak off on a little vacation, the Shekamoo crew held down the fort running the SLO Farmer's market to keep that Persian kabob coming to you fresh every Thursday night. Then, last week it was all hands on deck to prepare for this amazing brunch featuring local produce from 21 farms, coordinated by , and courses paired beautifully with wines from .
Thank you to all of the individuals and local businesses who came together to make this event the success that it was. And thank you to all of our guests who came out to support us once again. We hope you enjoyed your experience out at the beautiful ranch 💓

We had the pleasure of running our booth at the Whalerock Music and Arts Festival next to our friends at .bike. While all of our guests were enjoying our traditional Persian kabobs and their one of a kind grilled cheese sandos, we were in the back fusing together some insane flavors. So we've decided to bring them together for you. It's time for you all to taste what local, made from scratch collaborations can do to your taste buds.
Try this on for size - We are combining our Lamburger, with their pesto and dijon mustard grilled cheese sandwich. The kicker you might ask? Yah, that would be the fresh made kimchi. I know what you're thinking, "That sounds kind of fishy!!!" But you should know we wouldn't do that to you. This kimchi was specifically made without fish sauce. It's simply packing a fresh fermented punch that's going to drive you wild. So do yourself a favor and come out to this Thursday to try a combination of flavors that will taste like a bite out of heaven.
If you don't want to take my word for it, just ask how delicious this mash up is!!

Our LamBurgers are made with 50/50 beef and lamb patties mixed with macerated onions and spices which are then grilled over mesquite charcoal. These beauties are then loaded with our shallot yogurt sauce, tomato sauce with garlic and sauteed onions, and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. All of this comes with a side of our own addicting garlic and herb pita chips with an extra side of shallot yogurt for dipping. How could you resist?!

We've been hard at work making that delicious koobideh kabob for you to enjoy! Koobideh (koo-bee-day) is a traditional ground meat kabob. At Shekamoo Grill we use 75% beef and 25% lamb mixed with macerated onions and spices. If you've never made koobideh kabob, then you probably don't know how difficult it can be to get just the right mixture together to form onto 1" wide skewers. It can take a lifetime to perfect and even though we've be doing this for years, we're still learning and adjusting. We have been experimenting with products from different distributors and trying new ratios in our recipes trying to get you the best koobideh we can. So far Shekamoo Grill has been making an all beef koobideh kabob, but tonight we'll be featuring our koobideh with 1/4 lamb added into the mix. This type of meat adds a bit more of a binding agent to allow the meat to stick to the skewer, not to mention the additional flavor that melts in your mouth.
