It’s a surreal feeling when the storage unit can’t contain all the balloons—just as my heart can barely hold the emotions of being entrusted with something so grand. I find myself in disbelief, honored to play a part in such a monumental event. Yesterday’s emotions were a whirlwind, deeply stirring for many reasons, which I’ll touch on briefly in my stories later. But above all, I am truly humbled to bring the Bid Day vision to life, and I can’t wait to share this journey with you all 🤍

I didn’t realize balloon latex allergies were a thing until I got into balloons. So for this party I wanted to challenge myself to use only foil balloons. I did end up putting some latex around the base of the heart bc it looked a little boring but I love the look it gave! (i could have done starburst foils but I ran out of time).

PSA: long sappy post 🫶🏼
For the past 11 years, my life has been dedicated to nurturing new life. Eight of those years were spent in the profound and rewarding experience of breastfeeding my babies. On May 15, 2024, after 3.5 years of nursing my youngest, I officially completed this chapter of motherhood. (And did a fun lil photo shoot)

This transition has been bittersweet, as I cherished every moment of this journey. I started with uncertainty but quickly fell in love with the process. The pumping, the night feeds, the nursing on demand—it felt like a superpower that made me feel incredibly empowered. Despite the many challenges and countless tears, my babies and I persevered together, feed by feed, creating an incredible bond.

The thought of ending this phase forever was overwhelming. Breastfeeding became a significant part of my identity, and I feared losing that. But now, looking back, I smile at the beautiful memories we created. Breastfeeding was a unique, irreplaceable bond that I shared with each of my children, and it will always be a source of pride and joy.

Here’s to embracing the next chapter of motherhood and celebrating the remarkable journey of being a retired milk maker!

Shout out to for being such a huge supporter in my journey. Not only do they have the best nursing gear around, they sent me encouraging messages, flowers from and when they knew my journey was over, they sent me a retired milk maker hoodie 🥹. Go check em out! (Not an add! Just really love the brand!)

It may be no-no to post on Sunday but I can’t let July 21, 2024 go by without a hallelujah 🙌🏼

A year ago today we were at the vet for an emergency surgery on our old man pup, Koda. He was almost 15 and the surgery was risky but we were willing to do anything to save his life.
•
The surgery went well but we were hit with the news that he had liver cancer. We were told he had a week to 6 months left to live. We were (are) devastated. We savored everyday we had with him, treasured Christmas time but at the same time, each day felt like a count down.
•
But God.
•
God has so graciously gifted us with another full YEAR of Koda. He’s now 15.5 and doing well. He can’t get up off the floor without help, he wobbles when he walks, he is down to 74 pounds (from 110) but he is thriving. He sees a chiropractor, is on pain meds, but still enjoys a quick walk down the street, treats and car rides. He has adjusted beautifully to having our puppy and is just still really enjoying life.

Maybe it takes me back to my wedding day. Reliving those nervous jitters and dreaming about how our life would unfold. The adventures that lie ahead. It always takes me back.

It’s the start of something new. And I get to witness it.

Story time! I LOVE teeth and was a registered dental assistant for 8 years before I got into balloons. I even taught dental assisting for a bit 🦷

When I graduated high school I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I did a year at community college while I worked at Victorias Secret (so fun!). But then I met my future husband and knew that a career in retail would be demanding and would likely not allow for easy hours should I become a mom someday so I decided to get into dentistry.
•
I did 9 months of dental school at Franklin Tech through Missouri Southern State University in Joplin MO. I graduated top 3 in my class and fell in love with my profession. I have a heart for Jesus and mission work so I enjoyed secretly paying off patients bills of those who were struggling. The dr didn’t even know it was me! It made my heart burst at seeing the burden lift when they were told their debts were paid 🥹
•
I worked for Dr. Lais here in Rogers and learned more from him than I ever did in school. I’m a little bias but he’s one of the top best dentist in the area and it was a honor to work for him. I was only a year out of school when I started pursuing his office but I knew he was the best and it’s where I wanted to be. It took me 5 interviews and 6 months before he finally hired me but when he did, he couldn’t get rid of me if he tried😆

When with and reached out about decore for a free dental clinic happening in Rogers, it was an easy YES! Balloons AND teeth…I’m in heaven! 🦷 🎈 💗
•
I miss working in dentistry. I left a profession I absolutely loved but ballooning gives me the flexibility to be a SAHM and that’s not a decision I will ever regret.
•
However maybe I’ll renew my license and can volunteer next time they return 😉 (enjoy going down memory lane with me as I share some pics from my career! And it’s not a hippa violation bc the patients are family and I had permission to post)

A year or two ago, a girl named Cassidy became my Facebook friend. I wasn’t sure how we were connected, but I enjoyed watching her life unfold through her posts. A few weeks ago, she reached out to me on behalf of the Marrs, asking for balloons for Berry Fest. I was amazed—it felt like a dream come true that I didn’t even know I had. Like many of you, I have followed the Marrs’ journey from a distance, witnessing the incredible ways the Lord has worked in their lives. Their story of pursuing big dreams for Jesus and stepping out in faith has been inspiring, and it’s clear that the Lord has blessed their efforts, changing many lives along the way.

Meeting them after the installation was such a neat experience. I brought my husband along, partly because I didn’t want him to miss out and partly because I needed his support to keep my composure. I tend to turn into Lorelei Gilmore and ramble about random things, and he helps keep me grounded. Plus, it was great to share the experience with him.

Dave seems like a hoot, and Jenny radiates warmth. She has kind eyes and an even kinder heart. It was truly a blessing to stand next to them and be a small part of their mission. I got to thank them for allowing me to be part of their day.

It’s an experience I’ll never forget, and I’m so thankful for that random Facebook friendship!

From popping champagne to the first look to cutting the cake, the balloons added a touch of elegance and celebration to every moment. And to be part of it was so humbling 🥹

I’ll never forget when Arvest reached out in 2021 for their awards ceremony. I was still pretty new to the balloon world, navigating my way through and making sure I came across as confident (even though I had no clue what I was doing).
•
They were my first really big gig and I was thrilled they wanted my work at their event.
•
From 2021 till now…. There has been so much growth! They trust me each year and each year I’m ever so grateful they trusted me then and that they trust me now!
