my Lion Babe Deep Sexy remix is out today.

The theme of this journey was nostalgia. Acid music is such a callback and working on this reminded me of my own callbacks.

I saw and concerts through the years and their performances were so beautiful and touching that I’d see their concerts everytime they played in NYC. I was even in their 2020 Into Me music video (shortly and briefly flashed at 😂). Their album is such a masterfully crafted homage to 90s house and I’m so grateful to be apart of it. Thank you guys 🖤🖤🖤

This song is a little different from other tracks and mixes - if you haven’t peeped recently, I’ve been expanding and experimenting my palettes and there is (and has never been) one idea of KYRUH as a project. There’s never been a brand and there will never be one. I just do what I feel. Often you get a ferociousness in my music, but you get sexy femininity when I get good and ready.

I think the first time I heard proper acid was Paranoid London’s self titled album and I’ve been rinsing that s**t for years and it was a big inspiration

And idk I’m done rambling now. Never done reminiscing though

baby’s first release 🤗💘🤌🏾🙈✨, and for Queen MUVA . I’ve been a fan since Rewind and it’s a huge honor to be apart of RAVE:N the remix album.

I’ve been trying to type up something all day but haven’t managed to conjure anything close to describe the complexity of emotions of have right now. Just grateful I’m alive to use my feet to dance, my fingers to dj, my ears to make music.
