Inktober 2024: 31 "Landmark"The Wizard finally reached his destination, The Roaming Icosahedron, and luckily he could take this photo as a keepsake. Unfortunately, the framing is less than ideal, but it was the last instant exposure in the mechanoid's head so it will have to do!

Inktober 2024: 30 "Violin"The Wizard followed Marty's directions to the T and reached Keron Bay a day late! All was forgotten after a few cocktails at the Fair Wind Club and a few songs played by Ira Greenleaf, the famous violinist who was touring through the area.

Inktober 2024: 29 "Navigator""-and if you go down this road, then head south toward the port of Keron Bay, you'll be able to arrive a day early, that'll give you some time to enjoy the nightlife of a fun seaside village!" said the navigator."Marty, you always know the best way to travel!" said the Wizard, gleefully.

Inktober 2024: 27 "Road""Onward!" the Wizard shouted as he and the mechanoid head hiked down the road ahead. "We are finally nearing our destination!" he added.

Inktober 2024: 26 "Camera""Thank you for liberating me, it has been so long since I have seen the outside world," said the mechanoid, "the view is beautiful!"If you capture an image it will last longer," suggested the Wizard.
The head clicked and whurred internally before a printed image of the road ahead was produced from its mouth.

Inktober 2024: 25 "Scarecrow"The guides were helpful, however they got spooked and took off at the first sign of trouble. "This mannequin thing is dressed pretty sharp, hmmm nice silk shirt..."

Inktober 2024: 24 "Expedition"The Wizard hired a few local guides to help him navigate the destroyed portion of his map. The farmlands of southern Suviria are especially beautiful this close to harvest time!

Inktober 2024: 23 "Rust" "Greetings Magi," said the rusted mechanoid, its solitary glowing eye faint in the darkness of the Cardovian catacombs. The mechanoid was covered in thick rust, pinned to the wall by an old rusty sword."What happened to you, friend?" asked the Wizard.
"I appear to have been involved in some type of melee combat. My body was heavily damaged and shut down to conserve resources. Some scavengers brought my systems back online, but I was already pinned here—that was 150 cycles ago. My batteries will keep me powered for the next 600,000 years. I am fated to stay here, completely conscious of the flow of time—truly a fate worse than death."
"sheesh, what a bummer" replied the Wizard.

Inktober 2024: 22 "Camp" The Wizard, full of burgers, enters the forest and finds a recently abandoned campsite. He plopped down on a log by the fire and waited for the campers to return. After several hours they still hadn't come back. The Wizard noticed the tent was damaged so he mended it with magic. "Who would leave a perfectly good tent next to a roaring fire?" he pondered aloud "I hope they don't mind me taking a quick nap."

Inktober 2024: 21 "Rhinoceros" The Wizard stopped for a quick bite. Rhino Burger was having its grand opening, and the Wizard was their first customer. The prices were decent, but the cashier was adamant about not asking what the burgers were made of. He gives it 4 out of 5 stars. Better let the fine folks over at Basil's Guide know.

Inktober 2024: 20 "Uncharted" Setting out on foot after leaving the scenic overlook and the rental, the Wizard pulled out the map to check his location. He found a hole, clearly chewed by the rodent he roomed with at the inn. He would have to improvise.

Inktober 2024: 19 "Ridge" The car broke down about a hundred units down the road. Luckily, the Wizard ended up at a scenic overlook. He took a moment to enjoy the view. Since he was ahead of schedule, he didn't have to be too rigid about the itinerary.

Inktober 2024: 18 "Drive" "It's not exactly what I had in mind when I checked 'luxury sport coupe' on the rental agreement," the Wizard seethed, "but it will have to do, Excelsior!"

Inktober 2024: 17 "Journal" As the Wizard sits in one of Kirdüna's worst inns, he uses the time to reflect on the trip, hiking, eating, shopping, and losing his backpack. He takes solace in the fact that he is over halfway to his destination.
The reflection made him feel ready for tomorrow and the next leg of his journey!

Inktober 2024: 16 "Grungy" "This room is 1 1/2 stars at best!" sighed the Wizard."Oh well, it's only for one night" he added.
"The bed is mine but you can sleep on the floor... if it's okay with the roaches." said the rat.

Inktober 2024: 13 "Guidebook" "Hmm, 'Basil's Guide to the Inns, Taverns, and the Higher Dimensional Spaces of Kirdüna' gives this place a two-star rating." The Wizard sighed "It's the only place around so it'll have to do."

Inktober 2024: 13 "Roam" The Wizard pauses to get his bearings. He can't dilly-dally for too long, for the unrelenting desire to keep moving prods him ever forward.

Inktober 2024: 13 "Horizon" After a restless night, the Wizard takes stock of the few things he still possesses. He walks in an eastern direction, toward the rising sun. Despite the seemingly dire situation, he is invigorated by the challenges ahead and remains undaunted in his quest.

Inktober 2024: 12 "Remote" It had been about an hour and a half since the nomad departed, the snacks had just run out, and the Wizard just realized he had left his backpack on the cart.

Inktober 2024: 11 "Snacks" The nomad was nice enough to offer a selection of interesting snacks when they and the Wizard parted ways. He was starving so he chowed down immediately.

Inktober 2024: 10 "Nomadic" Luckily a nomad was also passing through this way and could give the Wizard a lift out of the desert.

Inktober 2024: 9 "Sun" "The sun sure is bright this time of year!" said the Wizard. "I guess it's always pretty bright in the Suvirian Desert."
"Pretty glad I bought these solar spectacles off that merchant!" the Wizard added.

Inktober 2024: 8 "Hike" It's always peaceful and pleasant hiking through the forests of Schiffbruk.

Inktober 2024: 7 "Passport" The Wizard always gets nervous about crossing the Schiffbruk border. The Guards there are pretty tough, not to mention he was smuggling about a kilo of longbottom leaf in the bottom of his backpack.
