Doing some fall clean up today and admiring the late fall blooms of the last sowing of zinnias, and already thinking of the new blooms in spring!! Fall is when the big picture planning happens, and for reflecting on what went right and wrong during the past year and how to make the next year better. For instance, investing in electric fencing to keep out 🐇 and 🦌! And using landscape fabric to help control the never ending weeds 😅. So join us as we grow into 2025!!

Today is the last Reisterstown Farmers Market!!! We have cute little pumpkins and the last of the sweet corn! It’s wet but not raining so stop on by!!!

The ground might be a little soggy after all that rain 🙌 but it’s bright and beautiful here at the Reisterstown Farmers Market!! Get some cute fall pumpkins and gourds, and some delicious squash and we still have green beans!! Only one market left till 2024 is over!

It is another GORGEOUS morning at the Reisterstown Farmers Market!!! Now we have these super cute little pumpkins, kohlrabi, delicious Crimson crisp apples, BROCCOLI 🤩, and acorn and butternut squash!! Come down and pick up your produce, meat, WINE, and other delicious goodies at the market!!! Open 9-1!!

What a GORGEOUS morning for the Reisterstown Farmers Market!! After a two week “break” 😅 we’re back and ready to go! We have all your fall favorite produce, kale, collards, apples, pears, and now kohlrabi!!!

Fighting the heat early this morning harvesting flowers!! The snapdragons are still chugging along despite the heat, and the scabiosa finally decided to join the party 😅

This plan would make a huge scar in not only farmer’s fields, and people’s houses, but also through acres of wildlife habitat. Only so that Virginia/DC gets faster internet, not even power. There’s a town hall meeting today 7/9 from 2-4pm and again 6-8pm at Summit Manor in Hereford.

Last year, Brandon and I were SO excited to be able to buy the farm next door and expand North Acres Farm.

We received news this morning that there is a potential powerline transmission route cutting straight through our farm; encompassing farmland acres, protected wetland areas, forest buffers, and our beautiful rolling pastures.

This is a preserved farm and the house and barn are registered with the Maryland Historical Society. Many people get to view this beautiful farm everyday during their commutes.

Please join us tomorrow at the Hereford Volunteer Fire Company to voice your thoughts, comments, and concerns.
