Bassarid

Greg Cordo, a.k.a. Bassarid, is a Charlotte, NC based DJ known for taking his audience on a journey through worldly downtempo, deep tech, and funky minimal house. His sound also draws influence from jazz, hip hop, jungle, dub, ambient and bass music, and his multi-genre sets seamlessly weave these complementary, and sometimes contradictory elements into a unique, handcrafted story finely-tuned to fit the setting at hand.

Originally from Boston, he first began running music and lights for private parties in 2010. After moving down to Charlotte, he was adopted by a group of old school ravers and DJs who brought him to his first Burning Man event. Hooked on the underground sound, Greg soon found himself behind the decks at regional events. He has since played burns and festival stages from Michigan to Miami, in addition to throwing parties with the ChEM Lab crew in Charlotte.

About G-Cord

Greg Cordo, known to some as G-Cord, is a Charlotte, NC based DJ specializing in house and techno. He also dabbles in lo-fi hip-hop, downtempo / chillout, breaks, garage, drum & bass, dubstep, and many other subgenres of electronic music.

Greg first began running music and lights for dirty basement parties in 2010. After moving down to Charlotte, he was adopted by a group of old school ravers and DJs who brought him to his first Burning Man event, Transformus. Hooked on the underground sound, G-Cord found himself behind the decks at regional burns before long. He has since played burns and festival stages from Michigan to Miami.

G-Cord is known for taking his audience on a journey through worldly downtempo soundscapes, jazzy lo-fi daydreams, funky house grooves, and deep, driving techno bangers. A lover of all things jazz, he delights in finding ways to juxtapose flutes, horns, and strings with bouncy burner bass. He is dedicated to curating the perfect vibe for every occasion - peak hour uptempo to sunrise downtempo, club to festival, and everything in between.
