That just married feelin’ 🥂✨ Man, what I’d give to rewind to this day.

I’m so quickly reminded of the valuable relationships that this career continues to bring our way through the years. Emily & Lloyd were one of the first to reach out to check on our team when they heard of the storm hitting so horribly in NC.

This is the same couple who found us here (online) and after one call decided to trust our team with their wedding day plans. That soon turned into far more, and now we’re still hoping we can convince them to move to NC… (ahem )

Our hearts are with WNC. The devastation is immeasurable and we’ll continue to pray and find areas to serve and donate wherever possible 🤍

From start to finish, these two entrusted our team with every detail that shaped their special day. We’re definitely sad to see the planning process come to an end, but their wedding was absolutely perfect, and we wouldn’t change a thing.

On the stories tonight ✨ Rachel & Andrew

I feel silly for just now realizing these two didn’t have a highlight on our page as their day goes down as one of our all time favorites. It was the perfect day filled with the most love & laughter from two hundred people under one tent who absolutely adored these two humans and the love they share with one another.

Simplistic ceremonies are in, and I’m not mad about it. When the venue is as beautiful as , simple is best— not much was needed to give R + A the ceremony they envisioned.

Our favorite mama-daughter duo ✨

Caroline’s mother Michelle left us the sweetest review yesterday, and I wanted to share a few snippets of it here:

“We want you to have EVERYTHING you want!!”  Katie would say this to me thru out the planning and ex*****on of our wedding.  This is the best way I can introduce the Katie Brooks team – they truly did EVERYTHING to give us EVERYTHING we dreamed!  Hiring Katie and Anna Blue was absolutely the most important decision my husband and I made.  I’m the mother of the bride and it is my honor to write this review.  It’s been 60 days since the wedding day, and I still get chills when memories swirl in my head!  Each of every memory would only have happened with the amazing creativity and expert coordination of Katie and Anna Blue.

In our first phone call, I instantly felt a connection to Katie!  Her enthusiasm and energy were a perfect match for us and our needs.  When we met Katie and Anna Blue in person at the venue, the inspiration board they created allowed us to see the beginnings of what would ultimately be a wedding event that perfectly reflected the personalities of our daughter and son in-law.

Once the mood had been chosen with colors and overall concept, Katie and Anna Blue secured the vendors that would make the wedding event spectacular! Katie’s dedication to deliver our vision was the key to setting the scene for a romantic, intimate, family and friends extra fun celebration – she has developed lasting relationships with vendors who deliver nothing but excellent quality, artistic talent, and personal care for their work.

The vendor team Katie and Anna Blue put together and led that day helped us give our daughter and son in-law a wedding event blessed with love, laughter, celebration, and magic!  THANK YOU KATIE AND ANNA BLUE!!!

It’s been a minute since we’ve shown our faces around here, so let’s do a little ✨meet the team✨ shall we?

We’re Katie and Anna Blue, the ladies behind KBE. I started the business all on my lonesome back in 2018, and Anna Blue joined me in early 2022. I truly don’t remember what life was like without her around, but I do remember that it wasn’t very fun!

Katie is a homebody and loooooves her some peace and quiet (although she rarely gets it with three dogs and four cats at home). She’s an avid reader as of this year, and so far she has read 54 books in 2024. She’s the gal behind all things design for Katie Brooks and loves pulling all of the small details together from scratch and then watching them all come to fruition on wedding weekend.

Anna Blue is forever everyone’s “yes girl” and it has been argued that the business should be named Anna Blue Events (🙄). She’s a speedster at responding to emails and knocking out any logistical task you throw at her, and without her, wouldn’t be possible. Her dog wears crocs, and she’s allergic to cheese. What a weirdo!

Last year we made a team decision to solely focus on Full Service Planning & Design. With this, we significantly cut the number of weddings we accept each year and are able to spend those additional hours on our select clients. This has allowed us so much flexibility to lead this business where it better benefits us, our clients and the vendors we partner with. We buckle in and are there for the ride alllll wedding weekend long, and we truly feel that this provides our clients and their families with so much peace of mind and an unforgettable celebratory weekend with those they love most.

We’d love to add a few more love stories to celebrate before we close our 2025 books. If you’re interested in having us along for your planning journey, there’s no better time to reach out. We can’t wait to hear from you!

💃🏼💃🏽 Had a design meeting for a really funky, fun design happening in April ‘25

💃🏼💃🏽 Completed a design board for a dreamy May ‘25 wedding and sourced all necessary components to make it happen

💃🏼💃🏽 Sourced all logistical vendors for a February ‘25 wedding

💃🏼💃🏽 Had a handful of client & vendor calls; sent over 500 emails

💃🏼💃🏽 Booked a new client for next month

💃🏼💃🏽 Created our shopping & to do list for all of our fall Bespoke weddings

💃🏼💃🏽 Went to book club — which you can join (virtually or in-person) if you’re interested! Just message us and I’ll send you the deets :)

Happy Wednesday everyone 🐫 It’s been quiet around here — whoever says vendors rest during the off season, can we chat??? These are the busiest months for us on the backend, and social media quickly finds its place on the backburner. But overall, I truly wouldn’t have it any other way!

I’ve felt proud of my business for years, but I can’t say I was truly proud of my brand until today. I’ve been anticipating this for months and I can’t believe the time has finally come, but we are officially LIVE and I couldn’t be more excited! We were blessed with a little facelift from the one and only Hygge Design Co. She took everything I imagined and made it better. I finally have a brand I’m over the moon in love with, and I have her to thank for it! Looking at our new website, I hope you all can feel the heart behind this business and the passion for what we do.
