Supernature Berlin

Supernature is a q***r, solidarity, electronic music event. Finally, we understand the dance floor as the engine for emancipation. It is plural.

Our main objectives are the promotion and distribution of q***r culture, music and art, as well as creating new channels for the participation and dialogue with different q***r and progressive communities in the city. Our final aim is to rebuild a social dialogue that has been damaged in recent months by conflicts and oppressions of all kinds, such as sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, transphobia, ne

o-colonialism, unsafer substance use and even neo-liberalism. We want to confront and discuss these issues with different social actors to create a safer space that is so necessary for our communities and their development. Our political objective is the redistribution of resources generated in privileged sectors to those who are oppressed and not so privileged. The profit generated by each event will be donated in full, except for production costs, to q***r organizations that work both locally and outside Europe. Dialogue, interaction and communication are currently marked by red lines, non-consensual hierarchies, boycotts and cancellation. Instead, we want to follow the path of social dialogue, the feminization of politics and the search for consensus and compromise, so that on the dance floor the communities can enjoy and feel safer and develop. The q***r community is not uniform.

Saturday 30.09 is getting closer 😈.. The next DJ is Snax 💥

Snax is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter, performer and DJ, whose roots run the gamut from punk to funk to disco. Hailing from Washington, D.C., then on to San Francisco and New York City, Snax finally settled on the vibrant scene in Berlin. Other milestones include founding gay art band Fagbash, and teaming up with Khan in disco band Captain Comatose.

Snax’s albums swing from the electronic soul of From The Rocking Chair To The Stage, to the acoustic funk of Love Pollution, to party record Special Guest Star, to sprawling epic Shady Lights. Snax launched his label Random Records for his various musical projects and collaborations, including gay p**n soundtracks by Tony Amherst, and house productions Box Office Poison. His latest collab is Snecker, a duo whose trippy sound was developed with Berghain resident DJ nd_Baumecker during lockdown. Last year found Snax’s piano expertise featured on Massimiliano Pagliara’s house banger ‘Snap Out.’

Inspired by her dedication to hard kicks and gloomy melodies, zikade travels between dark disco, acid and techno, with occasional sparks of electro, EBM and industrial appearing. Her sets always strive to be connected less by genre than by atmosphere — dark but groovy, melancholic but sexy. zikade is a member of the q***r collective SLIME , as well as a resident for Root Radio with her monthly show CENTER SHOCK.

This weekend we can't miss: CULOS FOGOSOS /// ASSES ON FIRE RADICALITY, DECOLONIALITY, UTOPIA IN LATIN-X PERFORMANCE – Presented by

Berlin: 15+16

, a non-binary performance artist born in Pereira, Colombia, wants us to open with them a two-session talking and creative practice around performance art in terms of the expressive power that is being mobilized aesthetically, creatively and politically by non hegemonic bodies in Latin America and the Caribbean. This will be a great opportunity to have an approach to those radical performative actions that have been held all around Abya Yala –the indigenous name for Latin America and the Caribbean– by those q***r and trans bodies who dissent from the colonial white cisgender heteronormative society by acting up and fighting daily consequences of fascist and other forms of violence.

In this workshop we will learn together to express our subjective making of the world through text and performance, recognizing the potential of our body movement and redefining sensible and responsible ways in which we as performance artists get related with the society and how to change it for the better.

On Saturday 30/9 come and check a q***r softp**n video installation from Pixelflowers 🌈🎊.

Pixelflowers is a Berlin-based 4-hands live visuals team, with deep
roots in the Italian hacking and DIY scene.

They like electronic music and love to provide a good, flowing live
video-track, especially for projects that hack into the structures of the pharmacop**nographic
era and createsafer spaces to celebrate a beautiful and radical q***rfeminist
experience.

Pixelflowers work with various sources (cinematography, TVCC, video
synthesis, code, andfeedback loops) and employ different video technologies (modern
software, old digital and new analog hardware) to process and interpret the music, deconstructing and trans- forming clips cut from archive footage, vintage movies, and q***r p**n to create acollision of analog and digital art. The result is a video flow that may
subvert viewers’ opinions and states of consciousness while increasing levels of
neurotransmitters such as dopamine, adrenaline and serotonin.

is a latinx artist from Caracas, Venezuela, where they were one of the first q***r feminist DJs/producers who have worked in the scene since 2001. In 2004 they moved to
Europe and became part of different organizations that promote and support trans and
non-binary artists. Dgeral is totally obsessed with techno-house classics, acid, Italo disco,
new beat & synth-wave, and not letting go of their latin background with tons of percussive
sounds. Their style is unique and eclectic - like a slap in the ass that will make you ask for
more.

Keep on presenting our cute lineup! 🌈

🔥 B2B , they met one day -or was it a night- in a Berlin’s toilet and they suddenly discovered their common passion for dark disco. JuNe, originally from Seoul, South Korea, after finishing her music & philosophy studies, she came into contact with Berlin's club scene, falling in love with its music & culture. Cristian is an Italian born dj and q***r activist. He’s still a work in progress project, where different facets come together in a unique art expression.

🔥Fisters of Mercy: just one of the many monikers used to hide behind and disappear (almost) completely into collective projects such as .party and . Techno music for the first, sexy sounds for darkrooms for the second one, both are q***r parties with the intent to promote non-binary music producers and dj, also through our record label SWISH, and to represent an alternative to the white-male-dominated club and music scene in Berlin.

Yellow in the black box, 08.07.23 | 10:00-22:00
At our Garden of Supernature our beloved sisters of are planning to set up a whole, but tiny cinema outside in the blank bushes. They have not yet told us what exactly is to be seen there, but we have already been able to find out through bush radio that the mysterious black box is related to a yellow manifesto and a current video work by the two artists and . Love Lazers have not revealed more and it remains exciting what we will see in there.
It should be noted that activist group Love Lazers works not only in Berlin, but also in Colombia on PrEP, stigma, chemsex and HIV topics. They focus on solidarity support for initiatives that address the global injustice related to the lack of or inadequate access to PrEP or HIV treatment. In Colombia, many people living with HIV experience jaundice–the yellowing of the eyes and skin–as a side effect of the low quality antiretroviral drugs supplied by the government. The black box addresses the alienation and hyper visibility that people have to face as a result of this side effect.
This topic makes a strong connection to projects that we support this time. And of course you can leave a coin in their mysterious video box, because Love Lazers will do good things with it.
