Yesterday saw the wedding of K & P at they chose dried flowers mixed with fresh lavender in terracotta pots to decorate the stunning venue. It was a pleasure to create for you, congratulations to you both!

T H E F O N T, I love font flowers! This arrangement was sat in a small galvanised bucket with moss to keep the flowers hydrated. It could then be easily removed to be enjoyed at the wedding reception.

M I L K C H U R N S another little throw back to last Saturdays wedding. A pair of milk churns were placed either side of the alter framing the proceedings. They were then moved to the reception so they could be enjoyed for the rest of the day.

This Saturday saw the wonderful wedding of H & J The bride chose David Austin Wedding Roses Darcey roses and big thanks to for providing the most beautiful Lincolnshire grown blooms to accompany them.

This picture might not look much to many but for all the dahlia growers it’s the first signs that the new season is starting. It gives me great joy every year to see the “eyes” appearing and those first green shoots emerging from the soil. Each year has been slightly different and lessons have been learnt along the way. The one thing that doesn’t change though is the excitement and anticipation of what’s to come!

Thank you to all those that have booked on my workshops and ordered Wreaths and garlands from me this year. Your support has been amazing and very much appreciated. I will be closing the order book on Tuesday for this year. I will be at Orchard barn on the 4th December if anyone wants to pre order and collect from there. Thank you once again.

I can’t believe it’s been a week since I was standing on stage at the seaside summit. I was thrilled to be asked by E-Factor Business to tell my story. The photography master that is was there to capture the event in all its glory. 📸

Sadly Morris the van is having his Winter maintenance this week and won’t be back in time to attend but he will be back for the December market so you can look forward to seeing him back then! So much going on behind the scenes here at the moment. Lots of Christmas planning and prep! Next week sees me talking to a packed crowd at this years Seaside summit. More info to follow on that. (I will try my best to story the event so you can be part of it too) 😍this weekend though is all about planning for next year firstly by planting all these Ranunculus corms. After Dahlias and Garden Roses these are firmly in my top 3! They aren’t around for long but when they are they certainly pack a punch. I’ve got quite a few varieties to try this year and I’m looking forward to hopefully being able to share the growing journey with you. Watch this space! So much more to come. 🌸

I quite often get asked “Who’s Tom?” So I thought I’d share with you all the story behind Tom’s Garden. Tom is my late Grandad (who was actually christened Charles Thomas but everyone who knew and loved him always called him Tom). He was the most brilliant man who loved his garden and took great pride in his flower displays. I was never particularly interested in gardening as a child but I certainly spent a lot of time running amongst his flowers and plants as I grew up and was undoubtedly responsibly for the odd ball being thrown in amongst them 🙈 I just wish he was still here to share tips and advice when things don’t quite work out in the garden. I’m sure he would have some old wives tale remedies for most things! I like to think he would be thrilled to bits with this little flower venture I have created and I couldn’t think of a more fitting tribute to him than naming my business after him. 💙💚
