A great little Syracuse ghost story! What’s going on Landmark Theatre this week? Check the peeeq app to find out!

Did you know the Landmark Theatre, built in 1928, was rumored to be haunted two years after it opened?

Clarissa is the ghost of a young woman, possibly an actress, who allegedly fell from a balcony to her death in 1930. She often appears as a pale apparition in a white dress at unexpected times to workers and guests – especially those not following the theatre's rules!

So, the next time you are at the Landmark for an event, keep your eyes peeled for the theater’s most famous resident.

We have updates to the peeeq app!

1. peeeq now gathers more events data! We can now really show you how much really is happening in our beloved city of Syracuse. Let us know if there are events that you're not finding on peeeq that you would like to see.

2. We made it even easier to explore… no location tracking or any other input needed! Just open the app and go! The downside is that you cannot see your own location and therefore cannot tell how far you are from each event. What's more important to you, privacy or knowing your proximity within the app?

3. We added one-tap deep dive into clustered events. This means when multiple events are happening in one location you can tap for the list view.

We are hungry for feedback! Please share what you think!
