Hey there, friends! It's been a while since I've touched base with yall. I apologize for my absence.

I wanted to let you all know that I will be closing down my business at the end of this month. It's been a privilege to work with all of you, and I cannot thank you enough for all of your love and support over the past few years.

My life has taken me in a different direction, and unfortunately I cannot put in the time and energy it takes for me to run the business up to my standards.

I'm running one last fundraiser to gather any last-minute orders you may have. As I end my journey with Pampered Chef, I want to be sure to give something back.❤️❤️❤️

Happy NATIONAL GRILLED CHEESE DAY, fam!!

I don’t know about y’all, but grilled cheese sandwiches have always BEEN - and still REMAIN - one of my favorite quick comfort foods.

I was once told to use Mayo instead of butter on the outside of the bread. The jury is still out on that one. It was GOOD, don’t get me wrong.

But was it AS GOOD as the OG? Hmmmm….

Happy National Carbonara Day, fam!!

This satisfying, creamy comfort food is traditionally made with tempered eggs to give it that signature creaminess, and pancetta for that salty, crunchy, delicious texture. Oooooh, so good.

This recipe, though not “authentic,” is a simple kitchen hack for ANY level of home cook! And you can get creative by adding peas or asparagus to it as well! (Just don’t tell your Italian friends, or they’ll likely turn their noses up. 🤣)

This recipe is one of my ALL-TIME favorites!! I served this (among other goodies) at a back-to-school Momma's Mimosa Bar and they are SOOOOOO delicious. They look elegant, but are an absolute BREEZE to make!!

I got some PC SWAG over the weekend, and wanted to share it with y'all!

I earned my Team Leader Scraper, which is the pretty pink one! I'm a Director (we get gorgeous Red scrapers when we promote to Director), but there were no pink scrapers available 2 years ago when I hit Team Leader. PC - as awesome as they are - gave anyone in a Leadership position the opportunity to add the pink scraper to their collection, and I was able to earn it! 💖💖💖

The GORGEOUS glass mug was an exclusive consultant reward available this month, and MAN do I love it!! So stinkin' pretty, and y'all KNOW how I love my coffee!!! ❤️☕️

Happy NATIONAL WISCONSIN DAY, fam!!

Let’s raise a forkful of cheese to celebrate our Wisconsinite brothers and sisters!🧀

Fun fact - though Wisconsin is usually associated with cheese, did you know it’s also one of the leading producers of cranberries in the USA?

And the state food??? NOT. CHEESE. 🤯

The state food is actually the KRINGLE! Never heard of it? Neither had I until this morning!

This distinctive oval-shaped treat has been a Racine County tradition since Danish immigrants brought it to Wisconsin in the mid-19th century. An authentic Danish Kringle is 32 layers of flaky, buttery dough filled with a variety of fruits and nuts and baked until golden brown.

Not bad, eh?? Wisconsin has this whole “state food” thing DOWN!

Since I unfortunately don’t have a recipe for Kringles (guess what I’LL be Googling today?), here’s a delicious recipe that includes the two other foods Wisconsin is known for!

Well, if it isn't NATIONAL TORTELLINI DAY!!

Did you know that Tortellini is a signature dish from the Italian region of Bologna, where they claim to have created this stuffed pasta packed with flavor. Ravioli, tortellini, and tortellacci are all part of the same family of stuffed pasta. The most common fillings for tortellini are ham, white meat, and Parmesan cheese.

So, raise a glass - or maybe a gigantic bowl of THIS recipe - and let's hear it for pasta!!

Oh yeah...and paczki. Those are pretty popular too, I hear. 😉

Happy NATIONAL FOOTBALL HANGOVER DAY, y'all!!

Did you over-indulge on more than just chicken wings and pizza during the big game yesterday? You're not the only one - in fact, the day after the Super Bowl is so notorious that it has its own National Day assigned to it!!

If you're looking to help with those day-after side effects, try eating foods that are high in potassium, like bananas, oranges and apricots. In addition, try having a bowl of oatmeal! Oatmeal contains complex carbohydrates that provide a slow and steady release of sugar into the bloodstream. This may help with hangover symptoms.

Or you could just roll over and go back to sleep! Options, options!!

Happy National IOWA Day, fam!!

Some of my favorite people live in or grew up in Iowa. (You know who you are 😘)

Today I learned that though Iowa is most known for its CORN, the state food is actually the SWEET POTATO! How fun is that?

So, this recipe is for sweet potatoes, but it also includes… you guessed it… CORN!! 🍠🌽
