It is also great to support local, so winning a medal or trophy in the Australian Distilled Spirits provides Australian distillers with recognition, acknowledgement, and the Melbourne Royal seal of excellence.
The awards also provide all entrants with invaluable, unbiased feedback from leading industry judges.

I’ve been privileged over the past few years to meet some of the Whisky judges, and they are legit, taking on their responsibility with the deference it deserves, using their vast experience and senses 🧐🏆
