DJ Shane & DJ Terey

DJ Shane and DJ Terey need no introduction to the music industry. Hailing from Mumbai they have played in Kuwait, Oman, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. They started DJing about 17+ years ago at a dear friends residence here in Mumbai from thereon they never stopped. Playing at wedding receptions, house parties, corporate events, birthdays and at church events.

With a good stint here in Mumbai playing for various events, of course, they had to pursue their individual careers professionally therefore Terey an Engineer by profession moved to Abu Dhabi for work and Shane continued to provide his sound to other events along with pursuing his own Tea business here in Mumbai.

DJ Shane who founded and together with Terey created ‘Party Gurus’ which came from the movie ‘The Guru’. He started DJing at all of his sisters birthday parties, weddings, get to-gethers etc. when he realized the love he had for music and mixing different genres together. He went on to invest in the sound equipment required for weddings and met Terey who loved playing on the console and making magic with music, Right from then Shane played old classic rock, retro, techno etc and eventually moved on to progressive house to hip hop music. Shane says that both Terey and him were very shy as kids but music bought out the best in them as they had to interact with the crowd and that’s very important in DJing.

DJ Terey also known as Terrence Pinto, Terry in his own words says ‘Music breaks barriers to create beautiful and long lasting memories’. An ever-growing passion to create and mingle with various tunes, keeps him up all night just to find the right blend in an amazing trip. He says ‘Making the most of his life is my motto and I hope to share this happiness with you all in the days to come’. Terey has played music in Mumbai, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, he played for big names like Max Events, Powerhouse Events, Abu Dhabi Golf Club, Al Raha Beach Hotel and also played for Church events in Abu Dhabi and Mumbai.
