May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Aloha mai!!

Please forgive me for taking a break from keeping up with this page… ahhh life got small line busy ☺️

This Graduation season I will be accepting orders for Lei Haku (Lei po’o or Lei A’i) and
Ti leaf leis.

Single strand Ti leaf leis are $15
Double strand Ti leaf leis are $20

Lei Haku standard adult head size will start at $50 and increase based on flowers requested.
*only fresh flowers are used as well as local flowers and foliage available. *will limit the amount of Lei’s per graduation day or you can request delivery the day prior (they will keep 1-2 days when properly cared for and refrigerated)

Money Lei’s will be whatever amount you decide to put into the lei and an additional $25

If I can get the silk ribbons in Kubasaki, Kadena & OCSI colors I will post and share availability these will be $6 per and again only if I can get the school colors.

Taking it back to the foundations 🤍

Learning to “Haku” a Lei was part of becoming a hula dancer! What you would wear was your Kuleana (responsibility)to make, this included picking the flowers or leaves, cleaning and sitting patiently trying over and over again to Haku your leis.

I would practice with Ti leaves for years before my Aunties, Kumu Hula and Makua would let me get near a flower 🌸 😂
