Our Story And Mission

Mama Giovanna's Sicilian Specialties was born of a desire to share authentic Sicilian and Italian delicacies with a sense of Old World flair, tradition and comfort to the Greater New Orleans area and beyond. It is our mission to provide fresh, responsibly sourced, safely prepared cuisine to all of our customers. We promise heart and soul, as well as, a uniquely organic culinary experience indigenous to the Montalbano and Ferrera family heritage. Chef Gina Montalbano is a third generation Sicialian who's Grandparents were born in Contessa Entellina, a small farming commune within the metropolitan city of Palermo. It is her vision to bring the essence and spirit of her ancestry to your table. Mangia Mangia!
