I was honored to help plan and execute a beautiful wedding this past weekend. Two amazing people who love Jesus with all their heart. I told Jeff when I got him I wish all weddings can be like Samuel and Madi. I had an amazing team of vendors and that makes a HUGE difference. We’ve all worked together before and that makes life easier. If you trust YOUR PLANNER - not the venue planner, YOUR planner. Ask them who do they enjoy working with…it really helps make th day go better. Thank you to for gorgeous bouquets thanks to for always understanding my weird facial expressions and allowing me to make changes on the fly. .hill.photo for capturing Madi and Samuel for being the beautiful people they are. And a huge shout to for setting the stage and making it the “most Madi” wedding ever. I’ll post more once the families and bride and groom post.

Dinner on a Thursday leads to a last minute trip to Paris 7 days later. My good friend, Lesley had some days off of work so off we went. We kept it inexpensive and had the best time. Saw all the sights - bike tour, museums, yummy food, Eiffel Tour, and A LOT of bread. Bonjour til next time.

Did you know you can now renew passports online? If you have travel plans this summer get those passports renewed now! Remember, your passport cannot expire within 6 months of returning back to the USA!

The online system bypasses the traditional method that required printing out a form and mailing a check.

TWO weeks ago, my husband decided to take our 20 year old son to Paris for a week and then they will be headed to the south of France. Jeff earned a reward trip to Southern France, through his work and I was not able to accompany him this time. So Anderson got lucky and he and Jeff have been exploring the sites of Paris. Added in with some Olympic spectating = rowing, badminton, and water polo to name a few. I keep hoping they get to the gold medal game for women’s water polo.

Don’t let short time stop you from going on the trip. You don’t need a year or 6 months. I have a client who is in Thailand for 2 weeks, where we had less than a month to plan! It just takes time and some digging and homework. I was able to use my travel agent resources for Jeff and Anderson to find the best excursions and tour guides they could get. No discounts, since I’m not traveling with them.

Now, if they could only find Snoop Dogg! And those Olympic glasses!
