been working on this half custom/ half kitbash of tomb raider.
the main thing ive been working on is all the leather pieces, her backpack and her belt/holsters. i think im gettinf pretty decent at making simple things out of leather and making the buckles from metal wire has become alot easier.
once she is done she will be for sale

trying to gauge interest in commisions for a 1/6 enfys nest from solo and death gun from sword art online.

i made these recently and sold both at megacon and can make more in the future.

theyre great companion pieces if you have the hot toys solo or the real action heroes sinon and kirito.

im not sure about pricing yet .

Just want to take the time to thank everyone that reached out to me via text/messenger or who came and visited me at megacon this year. It really means alot to me after all thats happened in the last 2 years . it was a great event , it was great to be back live and in person and ill see you all next year.
But today im taking a well deserved rest , have alot of unpacking and cleaning to do , as well as reviewing some invitations i received for conventions coming up.

BIG MEGACON NEWS UPDATE

Due to the large amount of items we have for sale we were able to upgrade to a much larger space at booth 1536!

We are the first booth you will pass on the way into the convention.
We got extremely lucky in getting this space and we are going to take full advantage of it.

I will also be taking commisons at the convention for 3d printing services, props, cosplay, nerf repaints and custom figures.

Deathgun just about finished for megacon 2021.
Crazy that megacon is just 2 days away already make sure to visit me at booth 301A!

This was a fun build and learning to sew a wired hood and cape was fun but also frustrating at times.
All in all im pleased with the results and only thing i might do is add some clear red lenses for the eyes.

Not the official photoshoot but i think im roughly done with my 1/6 scale enfys nest from Solo A star wars story.

minor adjustments needed i think, specifically doing a black wash on the leather on her shins and forearms.

ill do a legit photoshoo with my hot toys han solo soon.

Work in progress on my 1/6 scale Deathgun from Sword Art Online.

This figure will be one of the many custom figures available at my booth 301A at megacon 2021. I will also be taking commisons eventually for more of these once i refine everything.

Was having some issue printing parts with flat surface areas getting stuck to the fep.

After some research i found overwhelmingly 1 helpful solution.
That being, putting a thin layer of PTFE lubricant on the bottom of the fep before pouring your resin.
This has helped fix some of my print failures i was having .

Add this with proper supports and model orientation and your odds of success will increase IMO.

I plan on having a few master grade Leos from Gundam Wing for sale at my booth at .
Fully painted and detailed.
Some make sure to come see me at booth 301A.

I did an old 1/100 high grade leo many years ago on youtube.com/ZeonRemnants and ive been wanting to do an upgrade to that.

One of many projects im working on for a

i take no credit for the files used in this build. found the best and most accurate cosplay stls and been working on scaling them down to 1/6 scale.

i will be selling this and other unique customs, 3d printed items, t-shirts ,props and cosplay at booth 301A all 4 days (aug12-15)

after megacon i will begin taking commisons agains and also i will be offering a resin and PLA printing service via etsy.

So my main source of income ,making custom ghost shells from the game Destiny has been taken down due to "infringement" by someone from Bungie's legal team. So now during the busiest time of the year where im getting a lot of orders , my listing is down. (i only found this out because a customer of mine said she didnt see the listing on my etsy anymore)
I have interacted with the developers over at Bungie for years and they have seen my work and they've supported it every time i go to Guardiancon. But apparently their legal team is having other thoughts.

From my favorite episode of my favorite anime Zeta Gundam (1985) . As many of you my Artist handle Zeon Remnants is a reference to this legendary series.
Gundam had always had a lot to say regarding politics , war, the treatment of the earth and the people who live on it. To some people they see anime as they see american cartoons, just for the kids. But anime is so much more, its a revered form of storytelling in Japan and has become increasingly popular all over the world in the last 20 years. Its a way for someone to tell there story with out breaking the bank on a high budget film or live action series.
This is why i've always respected all forms of story telling, whether its books, comics, novels, video games, anime etc.
The form the content takes is irrelevant if it tells a timeless story, there is a reason that Gundam has been around for almost 50 years.

(for context in this episode the AEUG (anti earth union group) have seized control of a earth federation hearing (think united nations ).. Now of course this is seen as terroristic (is that a word?) and it definitely is, the AEUG is a militia that separated from the Earth Forces after the Titan took over the military and became exceedingly tyrannical.
The AEUG is trying to show the Titans for what they really are and during the scene Char Aznable ( a famous soldier from the prior war) speaks on how the Titans have become the very thing that the Earth Federation was fighting in the previous war. The original Gundam series had a very strong message about earth pollution and how the people that moved to space were treated as lesser citizens.
Such a nuanced scene and episode and every time i rewatch Zeta Gundam I always give my full attention to this particular episode.
