I feel the biggest difference between a terrific host and an extremely spectacular host is literally having genuine fun hosting your special day. As a matter of fact, the host becomes the very epitome of fun. An important note is that it ultimately reflects both back stage and front stage, which becomes infectious to the guests catching glimpses of us hosts as we work the venue.

Given my brand as a host, a lot of organizers ask me if I'm capable of communicating with folks of foreign blood, as these folks only get to visit once or twice in a year for their company's grand event.

I think communicating (In English) with not just our foreign guests, but our foreign fellow organizers as well, is of extreme importance!

As a communications trainer, if there's one thing I teach my trainees, it's not having to use complex words, but to simplify the message in the most formal way possible. (Of course, depending on the demographics of the guests).

Here's a clear example of that when I hosted DOWINN's year-end party last 2023.

Oh man, I can't forget hosting for Philippe and Thea! They and their guests were extremely down-to-earth folks despite their prestige! I truly loved how Philippe and Thea were very hands-on with their special day. Mind you, that's hard to pull-off!

What's even crazier, their good buddies asked me if I'd be open to hosting their wedding in Canada. Holy smokes! For a couple to even consider me, I'm absolutely speechless!

This is Mark Laus of The Never Settle Studio. He's one of the videographers I work with the most. He's one of the reasons for capturing priceless moments in the events I handle & that you see online.

He's one of the unsung heroes that help built the GH! Mad shoutout to Andrei of Andrei Espejo as well! You're one of the other unsung heroes!

Mark has been through a lot in his years. Currently being a 4th year student in UST, he had immense passion for photography & videography. When I first met him through Andrei, he was willing to shoot my events for free as long as he was given the opportunity (I didn't allow it to be for free of course. That's a skill to be paid!). Today, he had signed partnership papers and is collaborating with the college of Commerce in UST for both university and college-wide events. He was even asked to shoot for one of the most prominent business women in the PH. Holy smokes!

Throughout our journey working together, I must say we've been through more than what we both expected. Not only did we get him to improve on his craft, but we got him to improve on his overall development as a professional and as a person.

I'm not going to lie, as young yet driven as he is, Mark was definitely a little rough around the edges as a professional and as a young man. We had even been through extremely sticky situations with past clients we've worked with.

After our events, we always make it a point to allot the next few hours for updates/stories he'd have about both his personal and professional life since we often don't get to converse online due to our busy schedules. These conversations would develop into feedback sessions and me teaching him techniques on conflict management, ambiguity, and decision-making. Not to mention his overall grooming for that more professional slick look!

Not only that, he would teach me his knowledge on marketing strategies that he learned as a Marketing student. He even became my marketing strategist!

Fast forward to the last event we handled a few days back, I was stunned! The photo of him in brown, is him being the professional he deserves to be! Such a sexy beast!

From the haircut to the complete change in fashion, my brother right here really shocked me with his overall 360-degree change in look! I mean, damn! Look at that fade sir!

I'm extremely proud of who you have become so far and what you have achieved! Remember brother, stay grounded, and always remember to employ the sandwich method. Cheers brother!

I'd say DJ Micoadriene is one of the fast-rising DJs I've worked with! The accuracy of the songs he mixes during the after-party really hits the sweet spot and is extremely relevant to the demographics of the guests!
