13.11.21 | Andrew & Laura | Our first outdoor wedding florals done 😍 It was beautiful seeing how the aisle flowers turned out on the lawn after much discussion with the couple's family. The seasonal deciduous huckle berry and gompbrena helped to create a more woodland unstructured look, along with the queen's lace and sage green leaves, exactly what the couple wanted 🌾 To complete the whole look, we suggested using ribbons and baby's breath to tie across for the zonal distancing of their guests (instead of the red queue poles).

We value transparency and we're always learning on how to integrate sustainable practices. While disposable floral foam has its benefits, we have avoided using these non-biodegradable plastic-based foam for a few years now. Unfortunately, with a very tight timeline, we're unable to find suitable vases in time so we had to use floral foam for this one. At least they got to use them at their wedding reception and brought it home for their own decor 🙂 Swipe to see more!

We had an enjoyable afternoon with these ladies yesterday! Our first wreath workshop and we love what these buddies made 😍 Packed in a box to transport and store it till next year. One displayed in her own home, another waiting for her flight to gift it to her mother-in-law (but enjoying the display at home for now) 🎁

A few years ago, I was volunteering with a friend to reuse her church's flowers by bringing them to a elderly day care centre after Sunday. We prepared simple materials and taught the elderly how to do a small arrangement to bring home afterwards. In school, I was also working on some social entrepreneurship ideas for persons with disabilities. The heart of wanting to serve others with what I'm blessed with kept growing bigger, which eventually allowed my dream 21st birthday volunteer party to come true.

I thought since my loved ones were going to gather with me to celebrate a milestone, might as well get their help to do something meaningful at a larger scale.

So it happened! Thankful that Far East Flora Market agreed to sponsor most of the flowers needed for a National-Day themed floral arrangement. It was such a pleasure working with the MINDS MYG volunteers and to continue with further skills training after our floral arrangement session ended.

Most of my training are self-taught with lots of experimentation and figuring out how to reduce waste. I'm excited that I can finally conduct Christmas wreath workshops now too!

I'd never imagined I could do all these on my own. To my many family and friends that have supported my passion to teach, help others and the environment... Thank you.

Last Christmas, we made this bespoke bouquet for the newly crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2020 . What a delight to hear from her family how she loved the flowers and how she appreciated our repurposing of materials.

We deliberately included fresh red hypericum that will eventually dry up to look like brown and black berries. These colour changes represented the turbulent changes that we've been through during the pandemic.

Good lighting is always needed to capture the vibrancy of flowers well. I wasn't sure if the flowers will turn out nice in night scenes but wow... They automatically look rustic with the lights and of course, a great photographer! Same flowers in daytime but a different feel altogether at night 😍

Kudos to & .sg for capturing these beautifully! You can also get a discount if you quote when approaching them for shoots ;)

Bespoke wedding gift with 100% naturally dried flowers. From one bestie to another to display in her new home. The bride likes beaches so I was trying to copy their beach-themed invite design with my own watercolours.

A memorable gifting experience for me because I turned out to actually know the bride myself?! What a small world! It felt like a special labour of love from both of us friends 🥰

Happy Friday! Looking back to see what got us started on making our own wreaths... Our first wreath made with 2 cotton bolls to represent the union of the newly weds. Perfect for photo taking at their parents' place on their wedding day and then shifted to their new home 🏘️

We were asked if we could do an atypical floral gift, not the typical fresh or dried flowers arrangement for a someone overseas who's unable to attend her friend's wedding. Here's what the unique gift turned out to be after some discussion!

Another graduation season has come to a close! It's been heartening to see people still showing love towards one another amid uncertainties for onsite ceremonies.

A 21st birthday gift - bespoke Floating Florals and a handpainted watercolour card, textured with some pressed baby's breath.

For a kind and pure-hearted girl who brightens my heart! 💛 Decided to call this design Neapolitan, as the colours resembles the ice-cream. A childhood treat that leaves such a wonderful feeling in my heart, just like this precious girl 🥰

It's so it's time to share some smiles 😄 Here's your florist smiling behind the biggest bouquet she has ever done so far! Bespoke arrangement done for a sweet lady who loves menta roses, coupled with peach roses and champagne matthiola.

Fun fact: "I don't think I've ever checked myself out so much with my flowers except when doing this bouquet. Had to keep making sure the final design is at least half my height.. and it worked! 😂" - Merilyn
