Hello my bridal beauties. It has been a wee while since I have posted mainly due to the covid restrictions and because I have been in a lot of pain with my back and have reduced the amount of clients that I see. I am having more spinal surgery hopefully soon, but until then, I still have some beautiful gowns and accessories for sale at very low prices. All gowns between $100 and $800. If you are needing wedding dresses, formal dresses, bridal jackets, bridal belts, veils or jewellery/tiaras etc then please message me on here as I would love to help you. If you are a dress size 8,10,12 or 14 then I have some really gorgeous bridal gowns for you. Unfortunately I have no plus size gowns left as they all went first. EDIT: I am so sorry but because of my serious back injury, it is too hard for me to take individual pictures of my gowns and veils. If you are local, then you are all very welcome to come to my home and have a look at anything you like. But pulling gowns down off my rack hurts my back so much which is one of the reasons why I closed down my shop. I really don't mean to inconvenience any of you but I do hope you understand. Hello my bridal beauties. I just wanted to thank every one of you that has come to my home recently and purchased dresses, veils and accessories. I am really touched that you still wanted me to help you even though I don't have my shop anymore.
Anyway, I just want to mention that I have sold my last remaining size 24 gown and 2 of my size 18 gowns so that means I only have sizes 8,10,12,14 and a couple of 16s left on my rack. So I am calling all you smaller brides out there, that if you need a pretty dress at a ridiculous price, all my gowns are between $100 and $800, to get in touch with me and see if I can help you. Hello my bridal beauties. Sorry for being so quiet lately. I have had a lot on my mind. My back is getting worse and I am up for more spinal surgery pending ACC saying yes to cover the cost of my surgery, so I've been keeping a low profile as of late. Anyway, as you can see from my pics, I still have quite a bit of stock available. Although I am extremely limited with sizes etc, I still have 40 bridal gowns, 30-40 coloured dresses, veils, bridal jackets, horseshoes and garters and a beautiful selection of jewellery and headwear available. The main sizes of the bridal gowns in stock are sizes 10, 12, 14, 16 and a few 18s and 1 size 24. Hello my bridal beauties. WARNING: LONG POST AND THIS MAY CONTAIN A FEW TEARS. It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that Princess Bride will be closing her doors down in 2 weeks time. I tried so hard to stay until the end of the year but my back has gotten much worse and I am in so much pain that I am finding it hard to walk and do my job properly without the use of very strong painkillers. I need to go to Auckland shortly because my Surgeon thinks that the implants that he put in 2 years ago may have loosened and he will need to take them out and put new and bigger implants in. So I could be up for another 2 surgeries and the pain that I am in currently, is more than I can bare.

Having Princess Bride not be open to dress all you beautiful women is actually breaking my heart. I started the shop in 2006 after I went into a bridal shop when I was looking at getting married and the woman said that I was too fat to wear a wedding dress. It didn't matter to her what size I was, only that I wasn't a size 8. She wouldn't even let me try on any of her dresses. I left there crying and feeling ugly and started to second guess myself as to why this Man wanted to marry me. As it turned out, I never wore a wedding dress on my day and I never felt like a bride nor did I feel beautiful.

So when Princess Bride made her debut in Lower Hutt in July of 2006, I made it a mission that no other bride would ever feel the way I felt leaving a bridal shop. If you are getting married then you HAVE a divine right to look and feel beautiful on your wedding day. Remember this Man chose you, not someone else. It didn't matter to me if you were slim, plus size, white or dark skinned, tattooed, pierced, young or mature, had 10 kids or on your 4th marriage. If you walked through my doors, then I was honoured to dress you and make you feel special. After all, we ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL no matter what.

So, from now until Saturday 24th of August, everything must go. There will be no holds, no laybys just first in, first serve. Everything in store is between 50% and 80% off. Although my bridal gowns are all brand new, they were brought in as samples so there may be some dresses with some imperfections but then the price will reflect that.

I just want to say thank you to the hundreds of women who have bought their gowns and/or accessories from me. It was my absolute pleasure helping you and being a part of your wedding day. I want you all to know, my job was never about money. It was about making you look beautiful and feeling confident on your very special day.

Hi my lovelies, I am so sorry but the shop will be closed today as I am having a really hard time with my health. I am on a new course of drugs for my autoimmune disease and they are making me very sick and along with my spinal problems, I am not doing so well. Although I wanted to try and stay at the shop for as long as I could, I think my time at Princess Bride is slowly coming to an end so if you or anyone you know needs a wedding dress, ballgown, veil, bridal belt, bridal jacket, horseshoes, garters, jewellery, tiaras or bouquets, please come and have a look and see if I can help you. Everything in store is dramatically reduced. It would be best to make a time with me via my email which is [email protected] or private message me on here as I would hate for you to turn up at my shop and I am not open for you. My sincere apologies if I have caused any inconvenience to any of you. There is nothing I wouldn't do for my brides and I am so sorry that I am not always open but I thank you all for your patience. Hello my lovelies. I am so sorry but my shop will be closed until next Saturday. I have had a massive allergic reaction to my face and my mouth and lips and my eyes have puffed up and it's too hard to talk. I have been to the hospital but the doctors don't know what did this to me. Please forgive me for any inconvenience this may cause you. I have tried to work through it but it's getting really difficult now. I'm so sorry to everyone that wanted to see me today. Love Rochelle
