Q&A Design Challenges
I live in a small house when it comes to redesign I find it very challenging. Specially when it comes to buy the furniture and how to position them
what size should I get and what feature I should look for? Also can I mix the styles?

A: You can choose either size. The mistake people often make is when they get to many smaller size furniture to accommodate more seating area. It make the room look busy & not relaxing
Your Design Elements should include Space, Line, Forms, Light, Color, Texture & Pattern. keeping them balance is the key to create the atmosphere of the room.
First decide the function of the room. the Layout if there's an entry door or a door that leads outside , windows etc.
Choose not more than 2 purposes for that room, if your house is built with an open concept you can choose up 3 layouts.

second: what is the design you like? the design will created the atmosphere & the fell of the room. When it come to the style
Choose styles that accentuate or compliments each other. You can mix for example Farmhouse Style with a modern touches with smooth lines, glossy accents and neutral color schemes, it's less rustic, more sophisticate you can use as well some contemporary design elements for your kitchen such as stainless steel Appliances, Granite countertops & Sleek lighting.

filter : life stage, upholstery color& material, Frame construction Metal or wood, Arm Type & Material, Leg color. Very important the leg color either it will accentuate your floor or will cause your visual to look at the floor instead of the room.

Living room update
we kept the same layout and work with what the client had. We add new color that we draw from the picture above the fireplace. And we add cushions and a large standing mirror that add the finishing touch to the room. New blind was added also that created that soft and tranquil atmosphere.
