🌟 Can you believe it has been TWO months since Country Drag Bingo?!

💖 Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Bella Vista on August 15! We surpassed all expectations with the incredible turnout and were completely overwhelmed—in the best way possible. Your energy and support were truly heartwarming, and we’re so grateful.

🌈 We’re also thrilled to announce that we raised $360 for the Jacob Puddister Memorial Foundation, which was donated on August 25. JPMF provides amazing support to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and as someone who personally benefited from their free counselling services this year, I couldn't be more proud to give back in such a big way. It has been brought to our attention that a fake Facebook profile for Newfound Drag has been created and is commenting on our page, sending people to a site that asks for credit card information. DO NOT ENGAGE!

✅ The only (safe) website we use that asks for credit card information is our Square page at http://www.dragbingo.ca.

Newfound Drag is active on only 2 social media platforms via a page and an Instagram account . Our website is http://newfounddrag.com, which goes to our Linktree.

We’re in the process of deleting comments made by this fake profile, but if you see a new one, please DM us and report it.

Everyone attending our Drag Bingo event on June 12 will receive 1 sheet of 4 bingo cards when they arrive, but extra cards will be available for purchase on-site. Proceeds from the extra cards will be donated to local not-for-profit organization Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC).

YACC is a national registered charity based in St. John's which is focused on providing information, inspiration, and support for young adults living with, through, and beyond cancer. You can visit the YACC website at http://youngadultdcancer.ca to learn more about their programs, fundraising efforts, and resources for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.

At Newfound Drag, our intention is to lift others up and give back to the communities around us as often as we can. 💖

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and attended our first official Newfound Drag event and Drag Bingo with hosts Eda Kumquat and Madame Daddy at Banished Brewing!

We gave out more than $700 worth of prizes, raised money for Trans Support NL Inc. (more on that later), and had a great time with great people! 🎉

As of 5:24pm on May 1, there are no tickets available for tomorrow’s event and we’re not aware of anyone who bought a ticket and can no longer attend.

We’ve deleted a couple of posts asking for people to contact them for tickets because they can’t go anymore or their friends dropped out and they don’t want to go alone — these are SCAMS! Do not fall for them.

If you have a ticket and can no longer attend, email [email protected] to let us know or request a refund on Eventbrite so that a newly available ticket goes to someone on our waitlist.
