109th Winter Carnival 2022 February 9-13, 2022 A $10 Winter Carnival button or a $15 buff are required to participate. Buffs are at businesses around town. Buttons are at Howelsen Hill, FM Light & Sons, and Lyons

Feeling very grateful to be the Race Coordinator for Steamboat’s 5K Race. Thank you Shannon Lukens for your continued support of this great event.

Around 450 girls and their families and friends all ran a 5K through Strawberry Park Saturday morning for Girls on the Run of Western Colorado. The first girl across the finish line was Steamboat 5th grader, Georgia

Last week validated why I do what I do.
Had a blast working with and hosting the first annual Mountain Source Bike Camp.
This camp consisted of 25 people who either gravel or mountain biked each day for 4 days in beautiful Steamboat Springs.

Each day the route and the mileage varied giving a little taste of what we have to offer in our mountain town.

What’s your weekend plans?
This is a great weekend to be in Steamboat and probably one of my favorite weekends of the summer.

On both Saturday and Sunday you can start the day off with the balloon rodeo. This event is held at Bald Eagle Lake. If you don’t have tickets to the launch site, you can see the balloons from along River Road or the Chuck Lewis Park.

After a coffee and breakfast refuel, head down to 13th and Lincoln for Art in the Park. This is a great art festival where all vendors are the artists.

Then to round out your Saturday, head over to Ski Town Park to watch the Cow Pie Classic, this is our local rugby tournament.

This morning is the Farmers Market located on Yampa Street between 6th & 9th Streets. Festivities are from 9-2pm

Then this afternoon head over to Howelsen Hill to see our local athletes competing in the ski jumping competition.
Tonight head back to Howelsen Hill to watch the Pro Rodeo.

Tomorrow you can kick off the day with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Lion’s Club followed by our annual parade that takes place right along Lincoln Ave.
