Don't forget - the Festive Fayre is taking place in the foyer of Town Hall tomorrow, from 12pm until 7pm.

If you're heading down to do some Christmas shopping with us, there will be free face painting and a crafts station for children to enjoy. Plus there'll be mulled wine and a big mix of different gift ideas and locally made items to browse.

We're getting festive at Town Hall and hosting an indoor Festive Fayre 🎁 the perfect market for your Christmas shopping.

It's free to attend, so come down for some mulled wine and browse the stalls organised by local vendors. You'll be able to pick up unique gifts, from stocking fillers to thoughtful presents for all your loved ones.

Winter Festival circus 🤡 is due to open their live performances very soon, here at Fellowship Square.

In preparation, from next Monday 25th Nov, a temporary spiegeltent 🎪 will be installed over the fountains.

From 25 November 2024 to 12 January 2025 the fountains will be closed. Access to the campus and surrounding gardens remain fully open and accessible during this period.

Performances start from 12 Dec’24 to 05 Jan’25. Waltham Forest residents can use discount code WFLOCAL at checkout for 15% off.

With a range of food and refreshments served on site, there are two shows this year to choose from or why not both!

Walthamstow Town Hall welcomes back Stow Film Lounge next weekend for a festive kick off to movie magic!

Join us for the acclaimed Thelma, cert 12, and enjoy this unlikely action hero’s journey, inspired by real-life experience of Josh Margolin’s own grandmother.

And of course there’s Inside Out 2, an all round family favourite for all ages.

The Revel Puck Winter Festival is opening in just under a month and there's lots for the Pucks to do before they throw open the doors of their festive spiegletent and invite you in for their spectacular shows.

They will be starting work next Monday 25 Nov, so if you spy 👀 something taking place at FSQ it'll be the Pucks setting up their circus tent.

You can still access the Fellowship Square campus and gardens during this time. The fountains will be off over the winter months, while work takes place from 25 November through to January 2025.

🔔 Please be aware Fellowship Square will be closed all day this Sunday 27 October 2024.

We will reopen as usual on Monday 28 October. On Sunday there will be no direct access to the fountains, cafe, and front lawns, however you can still access the Fellowship Square Sensory Garden and Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Garden to the North of our campus.

The fountains will be off from 5pm on Saturday 26 October and the normal programme will resume on Monday morning.

Set in a Cornish fishing village, the summer season brings simmering tensions between locals and tourists to a boiling point. This BAFTA winning and critically acclaimed feature was shot on a vintage 16mm camera using monochrome Kodak stock.

Tim Burton's animated adventure follows the young Victor Frankenstein and his one good friend: his dog, Sparky. This children's screening includes a craft activity before the film.

Our Town Hall tours are an opportunity to explore inside the recently restored building and learn more about it's design and history.

Here's one of the groups in the ante room to the Council Chamber, from here you're just below the distinctive copper-covered clock tower and can look up through the skylight above to see it.

🧘‍♂️ It's going to be the final yoga session of the year next week - so don't miss out on this chance to get outside under the light of the full moon, for an inclusive yoga session designed for all levels.

With the seasons changing don't forget to bring some warm layers and whatever else you need to stay comfortable.

Join us to celebrate Black History Month with a special film screening of Amazing Grace (2018), which sees Aretha Franklin recording her 1972 live album.

"Aretha Franklin didn't transcend the gospel or gospel music; as first her album and now this marvelous documentary remind us, she did more than most to fulfill its potential for truth and beauty, devotion and art." - Los Angeles Times.

This is an outdoor screening with Stow Film Lounge, with pre-film entertainment and refreshments to enjoy on the night. Bring chairs, blankets, and get comfy on our Fellowship Square lawns.

On Sunday 29 September we're opening the doors to the beautiful Waltham Forest Town Hall again for the biannual wedding fair.

Guests can tour the iconic and historic building which is available as a wedding venue, meet the registrars, pick up a free goodie bag and be offered a glass of bubbly.

We still have a few spaces remaining for local businesses to showcase their services to all the couples who'll be visiting the fair.

Whether you’re a bridal dress retailer or cater to groom’s attire, wedding reception venue or florist, musician or make-up artist, join to be part of the showcase of the best Waltham Forest has to offer to make couples' special day the best it can be.

Join a tour of Town Hall this weekend and go behind the scenes inside our beautiful building originally designed by Philip Dalton Hepworth in 1929.

You'll learn more about the design and architecture of the building, discover its hidden details, be taken inside the working Council Chamber and more.

The tours also include the grounds of Fellowship Square, where you'll discover sculptures around the exterior of the building and the newly arrived Henry Moore sculpture, The Arch.

The tours are led by qualified guide Joanna Moncrieff.
