Happy Mother’s Day from our home to yours. I want to say a big thanks to my Mama Joyce for making our windows sparkle (we know how they’re such a pain) and she makes our carriage lights shine brighter in the dark of the night ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our recent photographers’ workshop geared to creators capturing wedding and lifestyle imagery … was a true success.
The rooms were filled with energy + giggles + aromas of caprese flat breads 😍

We are so excited about this collab with Emma-Lee, she’s a very talented digital story teller 😘 and we can’t wait to learn from her.
Here’s a brief intro about our lovely host 📸🤍👌

First and most importantly I’m a wife and Mama to two sweet boys. They fill my days with so much laughter and keep me busy! I’m also a huge homebody who loves food and spending time with family. And when I’m not chasing around my three year old, I’m a wedding & family photographer based out of Cochrane, ON. I have been photographing people’s stories for 9 years now, and it’s always a joy to see couples and families hire me again and again to capture their milestones. Since becoming a Mom myself, I’ve only become more passionate about capturing the fleeting moments in our lives. Time moves faster than we realize and all that we have left are memories and photos."

Year 2 🏆 we love this place so much and this town and this lake and everything around us 🦆🌿

Tomorrow is Workshop Sunday with feat. DIY wheat wreaths using a locally grown harvest.

It gives us so much pleasure to host creative gatherings, this house was meant to share.

Porch days are limited but on the bright side ... the house master decided to get to cutting the front hillside 😃

Note to friends / neighbours and all who have called me about the overgrown grass along Lakeshore Rd.

For the most part our work of naturalizing is going well 🍸

- until the grass went to seed and started looking quite nasty. (I hear you I’m on your side)
Thanks everyone for sharing your distaste and concern and I’m sorry it put your OCD into overdrive 🥴 and those who the loved the grass in it’s early stage, we did too 😙

Going forward we plan to trim it back earlier than we did this year, simply due to timing, travel and avail of services to help out.

Onwards to a new season!!!

This lovely 😊 + knowledgeable health practitioner graced our world with a boho earthy private photoshoot. I just love the airiness and calm captured by using natural light. And yes her aura has something to do with it too 🤩

She also picked us clover from the naturalized lawn areas 🌿🌱🍃

Meet our collaborators for our content creators soirée bc. An elopement set is complete with florals 🌸🥂

Friends since preschool, Airianna and Maddie have known each-other nearly 3 decades. Passionate about all things design, décor and gardening we decided to open the doors to Cedar and Sage in 2018 as creative outlet where we could share our love of fresh florals and design.

We specialize in Weddings & Events, showcasing our timeless and romantic style while continuously learning the latest trends and techniques from industry leaders.
Growing up in Northern Ontario, we have learned to be grateful for the little things like the smell of fresh grown roses, the fields of yellow sunflowers, and cedar at Christmas time. We enjoy incorporating hints of the great white north into our designs.

I have been playing guitar, ukulele and singing for 5 years now. Music has always been a passion of mine. the connection i have to music, is like no other and i find so much beauty when I am playing. I have just recently started writing my own songs, which I will begin producing myself, and releasing soon. I’m so thankful for all the love and support I have received from our community, my heart is full. I’m super excited to be a part of this event.

Throw back to the courtyard of summer 2021, and so far lawns are coming along quite well. The man of the house does plenty of aerating, seeding and trimming to keep our spaces in lovely order.
