My corner of the wedding world is officially one year old! I launched JTaylor Events in January of 2023 and am so grateful for everything I’ve learned and accomplished this past year as a business owner 🥹 I’ve wanted to be a wedding planner since high school and after several years of learning and developing my skills in the industry, I got to turn my dream into my reality! I am over the moon to get to call this my job and am so ready for what is to come in 2024!

Here’s how to get that wedding planning started! 🥂 1. Prioritize: Discuss dreams, ideas, and concerns. Take notes! 2. Budget: Where is the money coming from? And how much will there be? 3. Guest List: Who do you want there? What does your total guest count look like? 4. Date: How much time do you need to accumulate your funds? How much time do you want to plan? What time of year suits your vibe? And so much more! This is only the surface level of how to get started. I wrote an entire blog post diving deeper into these 4 steps and made a video about it!
