We gave our turtle tank a fairy-garden makeover this week. Here are the two fairy turtles exploring their new home! The kids I teach art & craft to online are often asking about these two little creatures we fostered from a neighbour, so here's an update!

I've spent the last couple of days here at Fairy Fun HQ, making these eco pass-the-parcel bags out of fabulous supreme wax print fabrics! Fairy Inkcap (Coprinellus disseminatus): This fungi is also known as "trooping crumble cap" and is a species of agaric fungus in the family Psathyrellaceae. Unlike most other coprinoid mushrooms, the Fairy Inkcap does not dissolve into black ink (deliquesce) in maturity and just occasionally it's possible to stumble upon a magical stand like this if you are able to get out into woodland.

As fairies, we're eco-conscious, using sustainable recycled materials and minimising waste.

Choose from our party package themes: fairies, mermaids, pixies, unicorns or animals and decide which elements you'd like us to include - making cute crafts, storytelling, games, bubbles and more!

We also cater for adults so if you're wanting a 'do' with a difference we'll attend your bubbly birthday bash, bridal shower or baby blessing-way to sprinkle fun and magic at your special event! 🎉

Crafty little girls absolutely love our sewing parties. They can customise teeshirts or make tote bags to take home during our popular 3-hour workshops. We'll come to your house or venue to host this fun and educational session and we use all recycled and vintage fabrics too!

Have you ever tried to make your own terrarium? It's fun to experiment with what works (and what doesn't!) Take some samples from your garden and plant them in a sunny spot! We've created several fairy-gardens in glass containers of various shapes and sizes. Some of them are doing bloomin' marvellous! They look pretty cool! 🌱
