Hi everyone! I figured it’s time to introduce myself 😊 I’m Taylor, and I just recently started wedding and event planning as Sage & Lilac Events! I am learning the ropes with the amaaaazing as my mentor.
I have a degree in Communication from UW and I’ve always been interested in event management. I have years of volunteer experience helping plan fundraising events for the Wyoming Frontier Prison in Rawlins, I absolutely love that place! I got engaged in October 2020 and realized that I love everything weddings. Planning my own wedding has been so fun for me! I haven’t been able to relate to memes about wedding planning being stressful because I have loved every second ❤️ I realized that I could be a great resource for engaged couples that don’t feel the way I do about planning and details.
I’m getting married this June in Loveland, CO! While there are so many great resources for weddings in Colorado, southern Wyoming can be lacking in that department. It can be so hard to find certain vendors in this area without lots of research, which I believe is a huge benefit of hiring a planner that knows the area and can do the research for you (like me 😎).
Planning a wedding now is far different than it was just a few years ago, and I fully understand the extra stress COVID has put on brides and grooms these last couple of years. I’d love to be someone that takes that stress off your shoulders!
